Our tour guide, Daniel Lim, took us here and it was really good. It is one of those Singaporean delights you must try. He also told us that the owner of the restaurant had a "thrown down" with Gordon Ramsay, and her laksa won! Place is decorated with photos of the owner and her famous patrons. Inexpensive.

The place looks like a fast food place but don't let it fool you. The food is yummy yummy, a must do if you're ever in the East coast of Singapore! I personally love the Laksa with noodles swimming in a thick creamy coconut broth, and I particularly craved for the red cockles, which I seldom get back home. In my humble opinion, the cockles are what makes the Laksa ultra special and authentic!
I also ordered the Nasi Lemak, Which is rice cooked in coconut milk wrapped up the traditional way in a pyramid with banana leaf, which was delicious.

Our friend was begging for a Laksa fix during our trip to Singapore. She googled and recommended this place because apparently it impressed the likes of Gordon Ramsay. I love Masterchef so my expectations are quite high. Unfortunately, I have tasted better laksa's in Hawker centers compared to this. Their noodles are like spaghetti, the broth lacks depth, there were tiny pieces of shrimps, few vegetables and thats it a small bowl will cost you almost S$6.00 If you'll be forced to eat at this place try their rice meal. They only have one so you won't miss it. When we went there it was out of stock. Must be worth a shot than the Laksa.

The soup was too rich with curry powder and coconut milk, not my taste. Price was slightly on the high side.

Cash only

It's basically a sort of noodle soup but no chopsticks

Delicious but a little smelly

Recommendable for who love to try local food

But not for who looking for something clean
