Good location. A lot of food stalls nearby and walking distance to Orchard Road. Peaceful location with a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. Good front office service. Very efficient.

We stayed in 2008 and it was an OK hotel. For an orchard hotel, OGC has (sometimes) better rate thatn the others around. However, on our Dec 2011 trip, the hotel looks really old.
Our room was nothing like a SGD260 room at all.
1. The lighting was very limited. All the furnitures are really outdated.
2. What made it terrible was the non-smoking room was full of smoke during 10pm-3am. A complaint through the front desk didnt result anything.
3. I requested a power adaptor 3pcs (one for laptop, the other one for boiling water and another to charge my camera). The front desk just declined the request and said that they only limit one per each room. They also ask you to sign a form when receiving the power adaptor

Room Tip: Just nice for a single traveller. With family, I would suggest you getting a rather expensive hotel just to make it worthwhile

I stayed here several years ago and was there off and on for about a year. it is hands down a better bargain the the Landmark Village and is more centrally located to the city center. It also has a better resturant with better prices, and there is a hawker stand directly accross the street if you want to sit under a canopy and have a beer.

This serviced apartment is located in a very convenient location. 5-10 min walk from Somerset station/Orchard Road shopping area. The hotel itself is not new but the rooms are spacious (I was staying in a one-bedroom suite), clean and the condition is very good generally. Friendly and helpful staff. Singtel store is opposite to the hotel in case anyone needs to get a SIM card for their mobiles. The famous Killiney Kopitiam is 5 min walk from the hotel and there are lots of food stalls along the street next to the hotel. Free wifi.

The hotel is just 10 to 15 minutes walk away from orchard road and the nearest mrt statuion (somerset).hawker foods just across teh street. fairprice supermarket just right beside the hotel. watson and the hotel restaurant are just downstairs. Rooms designs are very dull and typical of the 3 star budget hotels. the elevator is very difficult to use ad higher floors requires the card to be swiped before you can push the buttons.
The free wifi internet is very FAST. Buffet breakfast is OK (not a variety of selections). No free bottled water in the room, good thing that the supermarket is minutes away.
