There is a section for smokers- highly appreciated. The Singapore Sling cocktail was surprisingly good !

“Clean, safe but water is very warm”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

I know it can't be helped due to a thing called NAture BUT the water of the beaches was very warm, not what you on a warm Singaporean day.

“Amazing view, facilities and very convenient.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2012

There are breathtaking views especially at sunset. Good facilities, and very convenient with a food junction nearby. The beach is nice and big. The sand is very soft. Perfect(:

“Rediscovered gem of Palawan Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

Although I have visited this beach as a local over the years, I was able to still discover new gems on this beach the brought back many fond memories of childhood days.
Port of Lost Wonder - a water playground for kids and if you are under 12 year old and will touch the water, you pay $15 but your adult guidance accompany you for free. BUT all must be in swimming gears as they are real strict in protecting the water quality there. We spent half our time on the island there, had such great fun as POLW also has hourly activities such as the kids foam party, keeps the kids entertained throughout the day. And for those who prefers to laze around, you can take a short nap or just lie on one of the comfy beach bed - ya it's really a mattress - to chill. You got to be there early to get an empty one.
Then we (4 adults & 3 children) proceeded to one of the many eateries along the beach for lunch before heading to the Palawan beach for a real swim and sand castle building. But we discovered there is another hidden gem at the other side of the busy beach where natural habitats were quietly blooming and managed to have some fun time crabbing pea crabs, hermit crabs, flower crabs etc and even a baby squid ! - eh they are all baby size no bigger then your thumbs probably but still tons of fun. Do remember to return them back into their habitats instead of bringing them away and kill them. Enjoy! Oh don't forget your beach slippers, sun blocks and drinking water.

“Close Encounters Animal/Bird Show at Palawan Beach - Sentosa's Best Kept Secret!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

Just across from the beach and food court this must be Sentosa's best kept secret - possibly because it is free?! 20 minutes or so of fun tricks and teaching from staff who obviously love what they do and do it because they love it. 5pm every day - if you arrive late you may miss the warning not to eat and drink during the show as it distracts the animals who are trained using such treats as an incentive .... unless you WANT a huge sea eagle swooping down on your snack!! It is a small amphitheatre so it is really up close and personal - much more so than the (larger but also excellent) show at Jurong Bird Park.
