it's a nice place to have a evening walk..the best thing I like almost all places in Singapore is that it's safe everywhere to roam around at 11 in the night...

Skip the crowded Sentosa Express and head to the Sentosa Boardwalk, which brings you to the doorstep of RWS for just a dollar. The boardwalk is fully sheltered (except for a tiny gap between VivoCity and another at RWS) and is equipped with travellators, which cuts your walking time down. A souvenir shop located at the RWS end of the boardwalk also sells cold drinks for the weary. There are a couple of restaurants situated in the middle section of the boardwalk. They are worth a try.

My suspicions on the Boardwalk is that it is simply there to relief congestion on the Sentosa Monorail, which is forever crowded.

There are travellators to make the journey to Sentosa faster, with fans overhead. One funny thing is the travellators operates only one-way during certain sections.

Halfway, the boardwalk slopes upwards, and 2 F&B outlets are "inserted" downstairs. the mini Hill makes the boardwalk a bit unsightly though.

End of the boardwalk, theres a customs gantry, the Sentosa admission, where you pay $1 to go in.

Will recommend this for a quiet after-dinner walk with your partner.

The island it self is very boring with little to do, as not only do you pay to get on the island but then you have to pay for any activity you wish to do, which was limited. The only fun thing was the laser show in the evening, which was pretty spectacular, but that's about it.
