Owner description: Established since 1974, Singapore Cable Car is the nation's first and only cableway. More than a mode of transport linking local residents and overseas travellers from the top of Mount Faber Park to Sentosa Island, a 'joyride' on the cable car offers a 360-degree aerial, visual treat of the entire Sentosa-HarbourFront skyline. Above and beyond that, Singapore Cable Car is the only cableway in the world that takes off from the hills at Faber Peak Singapore, passes a highway, goes through an office building, over the HarbourFront cruise bay and onto Sentosa, the State of Fun. Hours : 8.45am - 10pm daily (Last boarding: 9.30pm) Admission: S$29/Adult; S$18/Child (Complimentary admission into Sentosa and Singapore Cable Car Museum) Check out our website now to find out more on our unique cable car offerings!

“scenic view..”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

me and my spouse took this cable car last time we get to sentosa.
we enjoy our time there, we know that we paid the S$29.90 ticket fare for the experience and the scenic view.. and it is more comfortable than standing in a monorail though..
but for me, it's a little bit hot in the cable car at noon.
on our ride back to vivocity at night, the view is magnificent.

“Great views”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

One of the long time surviving attraction of Sentosa, I took the cable car again after my last ride more than 10 years back. The cable cars are upgraded, and are slightly higher than before. With the rapid developement of Sentosa and the Keppel Bay, one could see the Port, Sentosa with all its attractions, the RWS, Keppel Bay and beyond.

We took the cable car from Mount Faber. There was a slight queue as the staff allowed groups their individual cabin instead of mixing with strangers. Alternate cabins were left empty for the harbourfront queue.

The cabin was quite warm and stuffy, thats the downside of it. Quite limited ventilation, but still bearable. Also quite expensive $29 for a return ticket. Can consider lowering the charges since the cable cars will still run irregardless of it being filled or empty.

“Singapore from atop”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

It goes both ways- up to Mt Faber and down to Sentosa island. It is heavily themed with 'angry birds' ! It offers great views of the city, the sea, Sentosa island. A rather cheap and comfortable way to see the city.

“Great views, but watch out for blocked windows”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

It's an expensive ride, but the views are fantastic, one of the best cable car rides we've ever been on.
We would have given it 5 stars, but 2 things detract. On at least 50% of the cars, the lower parts of the windows are blocked with those semi-transparent pictures which can only be seen if you're not on the ride.. Now as most of the time we were looking down, this could really have spoiled the ride - after all the main reason to do it is for the view.
And Faber Mountain is poor. Great views, but you really are on your own. There are no signs to show you how to get out of the cable car building, no signs for toilets anywhere on the mountain (I think they are available). And when you re-board, guess what, there isn't a single sign telling you where to go. So when you feel lost, ask for help!
We tried buying tickets on a Saturday at Vivo City. It was hopeless, the staff couldn't cope with the tiny queue. There were so many ticket options, each party took ages to make up their mind.
Go when it's quiet, make sure they haven't blocked the windows, and do spend some time on Faber Mountain, cool breezes and brilliant jungle and city views.

“Angry birds experience not what we expected”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

I dont think we were in the right state of mind when we did this as we were tired and trying to find the entrance on the Vivo side was an adventure itself (not exactly clear signage)
We did the Angry Birds Night Ride as we thought itd be fun and a great view of a the City.
View, nice, its lovely Singapore after all. The Angry Birds thing though - music was on a repetitive loop which does your head in after 4 times, the Cabin had a large angry Bird pillow which was a little worse for wear in it (I cannot imagine what Id find on it if I had a blacklight UGH), tv was not really needed as it didnt add anything to the experience BUT we had to try it at least once.
