I was staying in a family deluxe room with a king sized bed, a loft bed and a sofa bed. Smaller than expected but sufficient for 2 adults and a kid. However, I found the sofa bed quite dirty with stains on it. Not at all the fault of housekeeping, i thought it was the design of the sofa bed that mattered. The sofa bed was a folded one where the seated area would be placed on the floor when it had to be opened up as a bed. With the carpet or the sofa bed seldom washed, it was very dirty indeed.

Taxi fare from airport to the hotel was about $21-25 including lugguage charge. Showing your hotel booking confirmation could waive the island entrance fee. 2 pink cards would be given to u with the key cards as the entry fee waiver. However, no explanation to its usage was given, which was inconvenient for first-timer. Taxi drivers were not so familiar with the hotel and few taxi would come so it took us some time to get one on the day we left.

Location was great. Universal studio, sentosa express station, merlion were short distance away. The whole sentosa was sleeping after 930 except the RWS area, which was still packed with people. thanks to the casino, u might still grab a bite late at night.

Kid's club was located at hard Rock hotel. Actually, all facilities of the three hotels could be shared among guests, it was not explicitly told upon check-in though. For quicker access to the sentosa express station or universal studio, I would say that staying at hotel Michael would be better.

Breakfast at fiesta, as previous reviews had commented, was so so and crowded with long queues even on weekdays. To avoid the queue, try to reach there as early as possible. A queue of over 15 parties would form after 8:30am.

Moreover, not all rooms are equipped with a bath tub, do request it in advance if u need one. Bring yourself an alarm clock if u need one as the one provided was simply not working. Tried calling the front desk? It took them forever to answer the call.

I definitely would stay at RWS again if I am to visit Sentosa. Great location though the rooms are not of a resort standard.

The rooms were great and comfortable. Nice amenities like TWG hand sewn cotton bag teas with little tubs of creamer given. Extra bottles of drinking water were given upon request without any fuss. The public areas like the corridors, lobby were nicely decorated. Breakfast room was always busy and the staff were managing as best as they could. The spread was pretty average though. The staff were generally courteous, one cleaning lady was very smiley and greeted us with happy new year as it was the first day of CNY. The lift arrivals were prompt, and for such a huge resort, always arrived within seconds.
Tip: If you plan to get out of Sentosa Island onto the Singapore mainland, remeber to ask for pink cards from the conceirge (this is something they don't really like to advertise on as they expect you to stay on the island for your whole stay), the cards will exempt you from paying toll charge if you return by taxis (which cost SGD$5 per entrance) and $3 per monorail trip from the Harbourfront.

It was our first time staying in Festive Hotel - it has moved up the ranks as my children's favorite now, though we've been to a number of hotels/resorts in Sentosa over the years. The cosy loft bed and the hotel arty ambience was an attraction. The bed was too soft - it could be comfortable for some, but not for us. The pool wasn't very big, but it served its purpose for good family fun. Getting around was easy - food, shopping and attractions. Though I'd agree that getting the luggage through the car-park (for those who drive) could be quite a chore - thankfully the Resort World carpark shuttle service made it easier. They provided complimentary parking too (otherwise it could've cost $36). It was also nice of them to prepare a birthday cake and a hand-written card for my husband. Our overall experience was great for a short getaway.

We took a 2D1N package with the hotel which includes a pair of tickets to see Voyage de la Vie. The hotel was quite generous in decorating the room upon request as it was my girlfriend's birthday and even provided a complimentary birthday cake.

We were given a family deluxe room which looked small but was good enough for the two of us. The room was designed quite uniquely with a loft bed (for kids) and amenities provided were nice and practical: TWG, Milo and Nescafe packs, soap and shower dispensers. However, we found the bathtub very high and my girlfriend actually got a couple of knocks when getting in and out of the bathtub. Not very user-friendly especially if there are children. The bed was very comfortable though.

We had dinner at Palio restaurant, before going for the show. The restaurant staff was very attentive and provided very good service.

Breakfast area was crowded the next morning with lots of families, even on a weekday. There was simply no enough space for tables and chairs and some guests were seated near to the food stations which caused a bit of jam when getting the food.

Hotel also provided late checkout at 130pm (vs usual 12noon checkout time) upon request.

Overall a nice getaway!

If you are looking for a resort with beach setting, this is not the place for you. This is a nice place to sleep over after a day at universal studio, casino and visiting places of interest on Sentosa. Merlion, tiger tower, images of Singapore, cable car tower is within walking distance, 5mins.

Initially thought parking is underneath the hotel, it ended that the nearest car park is at blue zone, a good 300-400 meters walk away. So ensure you unload your luggages at main entrance before parking your car. Before checkout, ensure you obtain a complimentary parking coupon else your parking fee can be hefty. (S$6/hr)

The consierge staff does not have a system to ensure you get all your tickets and coupons at check in. Was told collect valentino retrospective on checkin day and my universal studio tickets, welcome drink, complimentary shopping voucher the next day. The next day, was told that the system shows that I have collected it. In the end, got all what I wanted after 30 mins of almost loosing waiting at front office. So if you have booked the package deal (3D2N or 2D1N) that comes with complimentary shopping vouchers, etc. Please collect on first day else it leave you with little time to use them. The front office staff could use a little more smile cos all of them seems grumpy working there.

Room is cosy and nice. Stayed in room 603, that faces the cable cars. The view is ok, when the construction works are completed. The balcony windows are double glazed which sound proofed the noises well. There is a king size bed, twin bed and loft bed. If you are used to have a bidet to clean up after use, there is non. The nearest will be the bathtub/shower.

Breakfast variery at Fiesta is limited and not worth S$28+++ per head and it is similar for both days, except for a noodle and rice dish. Breaktalk, Toast Box and KFC are nearby are nearby you are opting for a more economical option.

Swimming pool is small as compared with the one at Hard Rock Hotel

The robotic crane fountain at waterfront at 9pm is a new attraction worth watching. It's free.

Prices at RWS restaurants can be steep and variety limited. You can obtain the complimentary sentosa entry passes to take the free sentosa express to Vivo City or Harbourfront, where choices are aplenty.
