The hotel was dark dingy and over-crowed with coach loads of people arriving. There was constantly queuing hoards at Reception. Checking in took ages and the person who checked us in didn't make eye contact let alone welcome us, which defined the service in general. The room was disappointing with a TV that was inaudible due to distorted bass permanently engaged - not very hard rock - you certainly couldn't listen to music. They didn't have towels when we tried to go to the pool, which was strangely gated off with limited access points. For some reason the small children all seemed to be screaming and the the pool area just wasn't relaxing.
Once I managed to get us in to the Shangri-La, we couldn't get out quickly enough!

Check in fast with free transport voucher to shopping centre for unlimited rides for our stay. Service is great. Room is clean and big, there are 2 twin beds and another pull out bed from one of the twin bed. Modern design with latest technology, if u I phone u may use the room lound speaker, sound system is good. There are few beautiful design swimming pools especially for young children and teenagers with nice music on.

Received free Universal Studio tickets when we booked this hotel directly and received an excellent rate for our 3 night stay

Lived this quirky Hard Rock themed hotel. Situated within the Universal complex offering retail, casino, restaurants and theatre on your door step

We used the Hard Rock Cafe for a burger and a steak both of which were fabulous

Stay at this hotel if you are going to visit Sentosa island or Universal. There are some beautiful walks around the island

Stayed for 2 nights during CNY. Nice decorate room. Nice pools with man made beach. stay in double bed room with a king size bed, 1 pull out bed and a sofa bed. No balcony and walk in toilet. more suitable for family and not colloague sharing room. Housekeeping providing good service. Only down side is no free wifi and weak sigal in the room. Easy access to all parts of RWS. Remember to ask for monorail pass should you want to go out of the island.

We check-in as a family, and the only good thing out of it is there's a pull-out bed under the double bed.

Another highlight is the man-made beach, which I find it's too crowded, and too small.

No free wifi, no bathtub.
