i"m organised a event for my company offsite meeting. It is awesome. The property is very elegant, has alot of class, the staff very charming and respectfull, banquet service was fantastic and they provide a quality service. Tea breaks and lunch were lovely. The hotel accommodation and room are awesome, crisp and very warm welcoming. This our first meetng hold in Capella. All our guest are very happy and they really love the property and having a great time. We will certainly recommend this property to our other.

Additional to that, I would like to special thanks to Steven Go for helping us to accommodate to our several last minute requests eg. swapping meeting room event thou the facilities are all fully booked and make our event a successful one, also a big thanks to all their friendly service and they make everyone of us a very special person..

We have taken many staycations in Singapore and I really have to say because these guys deserve it that Capella is by far the best place we have stayed for the very simple basic reasons. Great warm welcome, lovely rooms, personalized service, lovely breakfast that makes you want for little more and the overall atmosphere makes you feel that you are having your very own private holiday thanks to the sprawling design of the hotel. Lots of privacy!

This will definitely be our hotel for every anniversary to come. Hope they can keep up the great standards because if they cab, we will never stay anywhere else again!

My Husband and I arrived at the Capella on Monday 12th of November having booked five days in a one bedroom sea view villa with pool.The interior of the villa was beautiful, spacious and beautifully furnished.
However there was one important feature missing.The sea view. Actually there was no view. Just a jungle twelve feet from the patio doors. Along the edge of the patio wall there were dead plants. Not just dead, but a long time dead and had turned black. We were gutted.We couldn't stay there, it was depressing. We complained and were told there were only 3 sea view villas and they were all the same. They said they were not allowed to cut the foliage.The Manager was very pleasant and very concerned that we were so upset. We left and returned to our previous hotel in the City.
The Capella has returned our money in full.
HOWEVER THEY ARE STILL ADVERTISING ONE BEDROOM SEA VIEW VILLAS WHICH DO NOT EXSIST

Thank you for your review on trip advisor. I am glad to learn that you felt the interior of the villa was beautiful, spacious and well furnished, but I was sorry to learn that the view was not up to your expectation. We are not at liberty to cut trees, so some of our sea-view villas don’t have a clear view of the South China Sea. We are planning a name change for these rooms to avoid any further misunderstandings.

It may be of interest to note that our Premier Seaview Rooms, Sentosa Suites and Capella Suites offer a magnificent view of the South China Sea, and many positive comments can be found on the Trip Advisor.

We do apologies for the inconveniences to you and your husband. We hope you will consider staying with us again to experience one of our many rooms with a magnificent sea view.

We held our christmas party in 2012. Considering that this is supposed to be a luxury hotel with good food, the buffet dinner provided is only average. We expect better quality food. Disappointed.

Moreover, the public male toilet is wet, which I supposed is due to a leak from one of the toilet. There is no slippery floor sign to warn of the slippery floor.

Thank you for celebrating your Christmas party at our hotel. We are surprised to learn that you have the dinner was average. Our executive chef , Jacob Esko, has worked in some of the best Michelin-star restaurants across Europe, he has also received many great compliments from our guest. Nevertheless we will pass your comments to him for his review.

We are sorry to learn that the leak in the male public toilet has caused you much inconvenience. We have highlighted to our housekeeping department to ensure that a signage should be visible whenever the floor is slippery.

We hope you will find time to return to Capella Singapore.

Its a perfect hiding place away from city.
We stayed at Capella suites 2 bedrooms. Its awesome! everything is first class.
Anythime you need a buggy just make a call and it will come in a second, very spacious room, nice swimming pool and ambience.

Room Tip: sea view room will be great!

We stayed for 4 nights and will never forget the feeling of absolute privacy and luxury of Capella. This is something unbelievable, especially in a suite room. But do not expect too much from the food - not extraordinary.

We stayed here to celebrate our son's birthday.

Firstly, we informed the PA about this celebration two months ahead of our arrival. Simple surprises like balloons, banner and cake were planned for the actual day. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the room was not ready with the decorations. We had to wait for about an hour before we could checked in.

Next, we strolled to the beach area through the back gate of the hotel. This gate was not locked and any strangers could just enter into the hotel's premises without a security card. In the following day, we confirmed our suspicion when we saw two different parties of strangers walking right next to the hotel's swimming pool in order to access the hotel premises. Don't be alarmed by these strangers taking pictures at the pool and then rushing off! Just watch your belongings to be sure.

Thirdly, when we returned back to the hotel from the beach through the same back gate, we requested for the buggy to pick us up and send us to the lobby. We waited for 20 minutes and no one came. We had to call the receptionist for help!

Next, the room had an intermittent buzzing sound at night. We switched off the TV and attempted to trace the cause. When I opened up the balcony door, the buzz stopped completely. But after a while, it came back again. It's either something to do with the room pressure or some electronic disturbance from the TV...we couldn't figure it out. By then, we were too exhausted and fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up early and switched on the TV, the buzzing sound came back again. Now we could confirm the source is from the TV!

Finally, the outdoor breakfast experience is just awful. The place is filled with baby flies. One landed in the chili sauce, another drowned in my orange juice and for the rest, I kept them busy by waving my hands. And these flies continued their pursuit to the middle section swimming pool too!

Honestly, we have not come across so many issues within a single hotel night stay. It's just unbelievable.

I am truly sorry to hear about your unpleasant experiences during your stay with us. I do agree that having to wait an hour for check-in and 20 minutes for buggy services is not acceptable, and I assure you that we are investigating these incidents to prevent any re-occurrence.

Being set a midst a tropical rain forest, I fully understand your frustration with flying insects. We do take measures to control and contain pests with special odorless organic pesticides.

Once again please accept my sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay with us. I hope you will give us another chance to show you the true Capella experience.
