“We had so much fun!”

Reviewed August 20, 2013

Papa Kit's is the place to go if you're looking for a fun place where everyone can enjoy! The entrance fee is P100 per person which you can use towards food at their restaurant. We went zip lining and everybody enjoyed it, my 11 year old son and my god son went twice! The climb to the top of the flat form was exhausting, but it was worth it once we started zipping the 800 meter ride above the lake! well, i'm not sure if it was a lake but it was a big body of water and the view! Wow! It was breathtaking! And the ride was exhilarating! It was a nice experience for all of us since it was our first time to ride the zip line. The kids also went to the hanging bridge and they really enjoyed the obstacles.... We also went fishing and rented a hut for P600 and the fishing rods for P100 each. The kids had so much fun fishing that we ended up paying P1260 for all the bangus we caught! It was an all day experience and we had so much fun!

We didn't expect much but went anyways for the Zipline. Much to our surprise it was much bigger and nicer than we expected. There was so much to do such as Horseback riding, fishing, Zipline, Hanging bridge walk, Rock climbing, swimming pool and much more.

Very friendly staff and great shuttle service around the resort. Entrance is very cheap P100 of which you get P50 back on food. Everyhing has a price wish they had a all in one package. Zipline P200 second time P100, Horse ride P75 15 minutes, Fishing P100 for rod and bait + pay per kilo for the fish you catch and have to rent a Hut P500 if you want to fish in the shade or fish from the side. The pool P100 per person.

The restaurant food was simple but a bit expensive and not a complete as we would have liked.

Overall it is a good place for the family and forgot there is also overnight accomodations P2800

Papa Kit's is a great place to go. There is fishing, zip lining, a rock wall and more attractions. It is only 100P per person to get in and you can use that towards food or drinks at the restaurant.

The fishing is also just 100P and the resort will grill your catch of tilapia or bangus for you for little cost. In addition to our grilled bangus we had some pancit which was very tasty.

The zip line is a lot of fun. It is 200P for a regular ride, the zip line goes from one island to another small island and is 800 m long. You ride it both ways so you're essentially paying 100P per ride. Children can take the ride too on the lap of a parent. Loads of fun and a great view along the way.

Highly recommend this place.

I am only reviewing the zipline since it is the only activity we did there. When my bf and I discovered that Philippines is starting to be really popular and actually really good with ziplines, we asked our tour guide during the Cebu City tour if there are ziplines around. After investigating and calling his contacts while in the car, we went to Papa Kits for zipline and lunch. It is a 2 way zipline overlooking the lagoon, which is a beautiful mix of blue, green and turquoise colors. We were informed that our positions in the zipline can either be sitting straight or upside down. I was scared so at first my bf and I both had the sitting position on the first ride.

On the way back though we decided to both be hanging upside down. We were harnessed the same way as the sitting position, but then flip you and you wrapped your legs around the cable. When they released me I was still clinging to the rope, you should let go and just be hanging upside down to really enjoy it. When I let go of my hand and was just hanging upside down, it was really, really fun! Lunch afterwards was ok, it was mostly coordinated by our tour guide. This is our zipline number 3 and are looking to try out more.

We had a group of twenty, all locals and they hated it. It could be ok for a small group. They charged P100 entrance per person, P1500 for a covered spot with a couple plastic tables and they said if we wanted to turn on the karaoke machine it would cost P1500. That's $37 USD to turn on a videoke TV! If we were to stay and eat and drink, it would have run us at least $300 USD. We went to a beautiful private resort in Danao that had a pool right in the water. It was gorgeous and we spent a fraction of what we would have spent at Papa Kits. Oh, to swim coats extra as well.
