My wife and I dined at Lemon Cafe at D'Mall in Boracay Stn 2 about 2 weekends ago. It is right in the center of DMall but its signage is nondescript and not quickly or clearly visible unless you look for it.
We actually looked for this place for dinner , gave up and finally found it the next day...
We shared a Salad ( large serving of Salad , enough to sae or be a full meal for one ) and ordered 2 entrees, the tiger prawn on a risotto and the Mahi-mahi . The prawn dish was good , though the prawns were small , the risotto was good and creamy! The Mahimahi was just ok ,
The servings of the entrees were not large, and would not be enough if you had a big appetite. But the food was fresh and tasty .
We had a lemon bar dessert , which was a bit too sweet for our taste.
The place was clean and tastefully decorated. it was a quiet corner in the middle of DMall, and you could have a nice quiet conversation with your companion in this restaurant .
However, for the price ( P500-1000 per person, we spent P1800+ for 2 and we only had a can of soda a salad, 2 entrees and 1 dessert ) they could have made the place air conditioned .
Would I go back ? Yes, if out on a date or to impress someone in Boracay. But if you have an appetite , you can fare better in other places with bigger servings .
A perfect place for a good salad or a special dessert .
