My friend and I enjoyed the beach in boracay not worrying to spend too much money on the resort to stay in. All day long we stayed out in the beach and at night we gone to some bars. We were able to avail the barkadahan promo, which is reasonable enough for 3 days 2 nights stay. We had 6 buffet meals in la carmela but most the time we were not that delighted about it since some of the foods tasted too bland or too nasty (e.g. mongolian mix). The hotel staff are just ok. The room we got are ok too. The two separate rooms that my friend stayed in were clean and smells good. It has clean bedsheets and towels. It has clear cable tv and the airconditioned unit colds the room. Bathroom is large enough and has hot and cold shower. It is close enough to the beach which is just about 25 to30 meters away. It is very accessible to the "tiangge" where we had bought a lot souvenir items. It is also accessible to the main highway and to the wet market where you can buy fresh seafoods then you can proceed to nearby restaurants to cook them for you (just like the seaside style in paranaque). My friend and I didnt mind walking to and from la carmela to take our meals which is about two blocks away since we can still enjoy the beach of boracay while walking.

Overall, our stay in the hotel was pretty ok and the money is reasonably worth for since we were there in boracay not to spend much time in the hotel but to enjoy the beach and the night life as well.
