We are thinking twice if we are going to push through our Boracay trip due forecasted typhoon. We arrived in Boracay raining and windy. Despite storm signal#1, we felt the warmth-feel at home experience. Thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. Simply Great!

We arrived on a rainy evening, but fortunately, we hired hotel's private transport beforehand. Transfer from the airport to hotel was a smooth and fast. No need to get into the hassle of buying tickets and paying for fees since the staff is on location to arrange everything.

Situated in Station 2 along white beach, the hotel is practically in the middle of everything. Amenities and watering holes are within easy reach. Live band have been very entertaining even though we can hear them from our room till 12 am each night. Meals from Don Vito restaurant is top notch which really lives up to its tripadvisor 5 star status. Everything in the room is pretty comfy though the bathroom plumbing needs some maintenance.

Frontdesk staff have been very courteous and accommodating to our needs. They are quick to arrange transportation on the first flight out when I sustained a foot injury. Their empathic staff had made sure I had the utmost comfort during my transfer.

Overall, it was a very positive experience!

Private transfer from the domestic airport/ jetty is very useful and check in was brisk. Service staff are also helpful and courteous. We stayed in their Ambassador room during our trip and was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery over looking from our private balcony with the outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed their late night performance just outside the hotel. The sand on Boracay beach is really fine and is accompanied by the crystal clear sea water. One can truly enjoy the magnificent sunset and have little fish swimming pass your feet. We also visited the wet market which is walking distance from Mandarin where u can get great bargains on the wide selection of seafood and have the food stalls, cook it to your liking. We also went on the glass bottom boat which take you out into the sea where u get to feed the fish and do some snorkeling. Overall, my family had a memorable trip!

We went as a family of four. My mother signed up for the hilot massage (that this spa is famous for) and the three of us signed up for the facial and foot spa (something called a journey or other). Unfortunately, the desciption included a shoulder and arm massage. I signed up for this massage because it sounded like the best value for money. Wrong! Facial and foot spa were lovely. both face and feet felt great. shoulder and arm massage may as well have not been mentioned. A perfunctory squeeze of my shoulder over two layers of towels was pitiful. $60 australian dollars later.

To be fair, my mother's spa was lovely. She really enjoyed it. The description was at least accurate. No built up expectations here.

Same cannot be said for the "journey". Please Mandarin Spa, amend your descriptions on your brochure. You've lost a return customer here because of the deceptive descriptions. You have my contact details because I filled in a complaint form.

It was our first time to go to Boracay so we wanna make sure everything is perfect from the airline to the hotel. We did a lot of research about which hotel offers the best breakfast, cozy room and good service and we found Boracay Mandarin through tripadvisor after reading all the reviews.
And Yes, really, Boracay Mandarin is really the best. Its a lil expensive but its worth every penny that we paid. The hotel workers were very accomodating when we went there last month and we had the best spot in the hotel (premier sea view), Breakfast was a 5 stars for me and my partner.
The hotels location is just perfectly ok.
..........5 Stars for Boracay Mandarin!

Hotel design and architecture are nice, well designed, relaxing feeling, very closed to beach (station 2). Happening at night with live band show, but a bit noisy. The most memorable thing to me is the breakfast, Don Vito Ristorante Italiano, serving a very delicious breakfast, best ever breakfast for me.

Upon riding in their private van in Caticlan, I felt that I had made a very good decision to stay in this hotel amidst its pricey rate. The private van and private boat they provided for us made us feel so special :). The staffs are very accommodating and respond to your needs as far as they can. Located in the heart of the white beach in station2, you will never get bored with loads of activities to choose from. Swimming in the beach which is just a step away then swim to their swimming pool afterwards gave us a satisfying feeling. We had a very relaxing vacation. My mother loved her room which is why sometimes she rather stay inside than to experience night life in boracay. My husband loved the place and service as well, already thinking how to save money to treat his parents to experience the service of Boracay Mandarin and of course the wonder of Boracay beach. Although the choses of breakfast buffet was not that good on our 3rd day, it made us full for the whole day that is why we skipped most of our dinner. I loved their corned beef though, yum!
I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again, hopefully soon:)
