We just got back from staying at the Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel and we had a great time. The service was excellent and the rooms were very clean. The food was also very good (it's the part I remember about every trip). At night, they also have a fire dance which is very entertaining. The spa was very good as well. The next time we go to Boracay, we'll be staying here again.

We live in Canada, and this was the first time any of the kids have been to a beach resort. We were worried about whether or not they would like the food, how we were going to organize activities and generally just find our way around the place. The staff at the Mandarin were very helpful in all these areas, the kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating, with a wide selection of foods from a variety of cultures. We were able to book activities such as island hopping and ATV riding right at the front desk (the staff even tried to bargain down the prices with the tour guides on our behalf!), which we thought was much easier and much safer than signing up with a stranger and meeting them at the appointed time in some unknown location. At the Mandarin, the tour guides would pick you up at the hotel and take you where you wanted to go, and the hotel staff knew the time you were scheduled to return, so that they would know if anything went wrong. This extra security really put our minds at ease and let us enjoy the vacation.

The location of the hotel itself is something worth mentioning, it was a comfortable walking distance to D'mall, which was the shopping and tourism center of the section of beach we were staying. However, the Mandarin was not too close to the loud bars and clubs, which had music blaring late into the night, so the kids were able to sleep just fine.

I almost forgot the mention the music! Every night, the Mandarin has a dinner buffet right on the beach, with live music. As always, the food was great, and the band really added a wonderful atmosphere. They played new and old hits, and also took requests. They weren’t too loud, so our kids didn’t put their hands over their ears like they usually do.

Overall, our stay was excellent. From the helpful staff that lent us beach towels when we forgot ours, to the delicious dinner buffet and live band, we know that it was the right decision to stay at the Mandarin and we plan to come back again someday!

Room Tip: One tip - book a room a month or two in advance! Sometimes they get a wait-list.

Recently had my wedding here and it was so BEAUTIFUL!!! I have no complaints whatsoever... they did all the decorations and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Not only did they do an awesome job with decorating, they also had the best service and great food... I didn't have to worry about a thing except making sure I was ready for my wedding they took care of the rest... I highly recommend this place for a wedding or any family parties...Thank you so much to Mrs.Lily and the staff of Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel... You made my wedding day so special...

Hotel is located in the middle of station 2. The best place to order a drink, double the size compared to outside bar. Staff are polite but confuse sometime. Ask for cheese cake was given ice cream. On 3rd day of breakfast staff didn't bother to ask coffee or the usual egg, like they used to do in our 2days stay. It's suppose to be a tripleA hotel accommodation. Overall a vgood location

I stayed here for 3 nights with friends. The hotel meets all the needs of any traveller, patient and attentive staff, clean rooms, wifi, pool, restaurant and beachfront location.

In arrival at Caticlan airport, we met the hotel shuttle service. They took our bags, drove us in the air-conditioned van to the boat and ferried us to Boracay in comfort. A tip...book and pay for the transfer in advance...the journey from Caticlan to the hotel would be very challenging independently of the hotel.

The hotel is located only metres from the beach, it's very comfortable and in easy reach of everything with the island of Boracay.

I would stay here again. Book early and you will secure a great bargain.

Room Tip: Ask for a premier sea view.

Last Feb o6,2011,me together with 2 families from china checkin at supposedly one of the best resort in Boracay, but after one sleepless nite my friends and thier families abruptly checkout the next day due to the noise generated by the band outside till midnite,we had prepaid 3 nite of stay at this resort, but the owner and manager tells me that the advance payment are automatically forfeited and no rebooking allowed, even so she Brags that their resort are fully booked always,if so why cant she sells my unused room to others?and i found out later that this resort had similar complain by other guest also,my advise dont stay in this resort if you wish to have a Cozy and Quiet vacation.

Room Tip: All their rooms are noisy, most had no views at all
