Stayed for one night only so a limited review. Room nice and large Deluxe double. Excellent bathroom & shower facilities, an old type television although good quality could have done with upgrading to flat screen. Disappointing in that room had no mini bar. Aircon fine and not too noisy. NOISY roosters from nearby property in the morning will awake you at 4:30 or thereabouts - not a problem if your an early riser! free drink on arrival - nice touch. Free breakfast at adjacent restaurant also good. If you enjoy a drink then the seafront bar/restaurant offers 2 for 1 cocktails from 4pm -9pm. Would use the hotel again if I was to return to Boracay. Its a quiet place away from the noisier parts.

We had a great experience in Microtel. The staff are friendly, the food is great and d amenities are just what we needed. We went there during d holy week but it's not crowded unlike when you stay at the white beach.

My kids enjoyed the pool very much. My youngest loved the play area as well.

This will not be our last in Microtel boracay.

The hotel staffs were not too friendly 'n proactive except the escort, he was very nice, friendly 'n helpful. He well took care of me from the pier to hotel. His smile was very impressive 'n warm that made me feel good in my first stay in Boracay.

Room is cleaniness. Though, I've found a bunch of ants walking on the pool side beach area which was awful!! No staff seemed to be alerted / cared even they walked by.

Regular air-con shuttle service was nice, only took around 10 mins to go the market wherez many shops 'n restaurants.

Seafood 'n BBQ in Boracay are cheap 'n quite tasty.

Cheap in-room massage service, only HK$100 for an hour. Quality was acceptable.

Breakfast was so so, designated choice everyday (American bfast, Filippino style breakfast, Continental breakfast..etc.). I'd rather prefer American style..lol.

I love the hotel right located at the area of Diniwid white beach. Very cool!!

We stayed at this hotel last February. Upon arrival at Caticlan airport, Kuya Dante welcomed us and offered to take our souvenir pic at the airport. Then he accompanied us till we arrive at the hotel. We were given a cold towel and a drink (frozen iced tea), both are very refreshing. After the check-in process, we were accompanied to our respective rooms by their friendly staffs. The room (suite) was simple but for me, was amazing. They clean our rooms and change our towels daily even if we did not tell them to do so. If we request something, they easily deliver it to our room. With regard to their food (breakfast), it was okay, but it would be more satisfying if they will make it on a buffet style, overall, all their food was delicious, and a bit expensive :-). Since it was far from the main proper, their arranged free back and forth transfers was very convenient. To sum it up, we enjoyed our stay at Microtel.

I really enjoy staying at MICROTEL.....especially in Boracay. I have stayed here before and strongly suggest that you purchase the ground transfer from the airport to the MICROTEL. It is money well spent and you can trust them with your luggage (be sure to tip the jetty porters who assist with your luggage)...At first it seems like a long ride to the MICROTEL but trust me, it is one of the best places to stay. I paid extra to enjoy the beach front view.....I would wake at 6am and take a 20 minute beach walk to station two/D Mall and enjoy a cup of coffee. I would then have the FREE MICROTEL shuttle pick me up and I would return for my complimentary breakfast. I would then enjoy the free flowing coffee while reading the newspaper, followed by a swim in in their private beach. The Microtel has the perfect mix of pleasure/business/family....Tell them MARK HYLLAND suggested you stay here. Mark

Room Tip: Try the beach front room....202 looks directly down to the pool but 204 has a better view of the oce...

Small modern hotel on Diniwid beach too far away from White beach. Was not happy with room given. So paid extra for pool facing room. The beach in front of the hotel is a small cove did not spend any time there as too windy and no hotel service. We were in Boracay in August which is probably the worst time to visit. (Typhoon season) Room was OK bed comfortable but my advice is to choose closer to the action shopping etc.and book 4 star at least. You get what you pay for particularly in the Phillipines. The pool is small the restaurant next door (Mamma) was good. .

Room Tip: Pool facing rooms are the only ones which overlook the beach.

Stayed 5d/4n and had a great time. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. We were greeted at the door with a drink, necklace, and cold towel. Throughout our stay, they took good care of us.

We stayed in a suite (four of us) and were fine as the room was big enough and the fold-out sleeper sofa was comfortable (relatively speaking). The price of the room was only for two people, so we had to pay P 750 / person / night, but that was not too bad and it also included the 'free' breakfast.

While the location is not on Station 1 and there is no beach in front of the hotel, it was just a two minute walk to the beach next door or about a 15 minute walk over to the White Beach at Station 1. The free shuttle was very helpful for going to D'Mall and tricycles were also readily available.

The only downside were the breakfasts. You are not given much of a choice and they were somewhat mediocre. But we did have a good dinner at the restaurant.

Overall, we would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have better views and are brighter (lower rooms are the ones from 100 to 125 - if I rem...
