“Beach Life from a Bean Bag”
Reviewed August 23, 2014

During your stay in Boracay you must come by for a meal or you will have missed one of the gems of Boracay. I recommend evening at low tide, when the bean bags come out. This is a great place to watch the world go by while enjoying great food and drinks. The staff is well trained and very attentive. We had Rod as our server and he provided us with a great dining experience. When we returned the following night, we sat next to the same guests that were there the night before, apparently they enjoyed Aplaya as much as we did.

The first night I had the Sea Bass Ravioli, which was delicious and what you would expect from a restaurant in the North Beach district of San Francisco. The second night was grilled fish plate for two. Fantastic!

Aplaya certainly raises the bar in Boracay for food quality. A fine dining experience from the comforts of a bean bag chair.

For those of you not wanting to "bean bag" it, there are chairs and tables too.

“A nice new addition to Boracay restaurant”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

Was pleasantly surprised with the nice appetizer plate we got to try. The cocktails and juices were good and strong! The food was really good and tasty but (maybe because it was the beginning) the portions were a little small. We didn't get to try their Italian desserts as they were not available. Looking forward to try them.
Got to taste their breakfast during another visit. Really nice as well.
The place is really perfect to chill for a sunset: nice bean bags and great designs of chairs!
The owners got to spin a few women around during an amazing dance showcase! A good place to go to enjoy and have fun!

“Good food and great atmosphere”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

This beachfront restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We dined here for lunch after several days on the island and the food was delicious. I ordered the lunch set and the portion size was spot on. The proprietor is an Italian lady that has put together a pretty stellar menu to go with a full selection of cocktails and after dinner hookahs. She helped explain portions of the menu (my Italian is non-existent) and even asked about our meal a day or so later. It's always nice to be recognized and remembered after just one meal. My iced Americano was served in a chilled martini glass with floating coffee beans to add a touch of class to our early afternoon. The location is also perfect for viewing the famous White Beach sunsets at Boracay. I highly recommend a stop in for some great food or just a quick espresso and email check with the bar's wifi.

“Best music on the island ”
Reviewed August 12, 2014 via mobile

Came here for dinner and the food was delicious. A bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The service is great and just love the music they play, perfect for the beach scene! They have happy hour too which is always a plus. Recommend this restaurant for drinks, dinner or relaxing on the bean bags smoking shisha.

“Excellent location & relaxing ambiance!”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

The location is excellent because its located in Station 2 beachfront. The ambiance is so relaxing plus the live music playing. But the main thing is their food. We ordered 3 kinds of family pizzas and they are all so delizioso with Italian red wine and cocktails.
