During your stay in Boracay you must come by for a meal or you will have missed one of the gems of Boracay. I recommend evening at low tide, when the bean bags come out. This is a great place to watch the world go by while enjoying great food and drinks. The staff is well trained and very attentive. We had Rod as our server and he provided us with a great dining experience. When we returned the following night, we sat next to the same guests that were there the night before, apparently they enjoyed Aplaya as much as we did.
The first night I had the Sea Bass Ravioli, which was delicious and what you would expect from a restaurant in the North Beach district of San Francisco. The second night was grilled fish plate for two. Fantastic!
Aplaya certainly raises the bar in Boracay for food quality. A fine dining experience from the comforts of a bean bag chair.
For those of you not wanting to "bean bag" it, there are chairs and tables too.
