The room service is terrible. The room service attendant and his bisor itself is very impolite. They don't know how to follow instructions. Just had a bad experience on the food I ordered. Very terrible. Will never ever come back here.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, clean pools, good breakfast, friendly staff, loud roosters in the morning. Only bad Wi-Fi bit spoiled vacation, briefly helped to contact the staff. I could not communicate with relatives.

Room Tip: Grand Room is very spacious and bright, beautiful view of the pools

We stayed at the resort for a 3 day, 2 nights package. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights, but we decided to go to a sidetrip to Cebu and Boracay instead.

First thing that people would need to know: BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL ITSELF! Boracay Gardens had a package for 3 days, 2 nights, which includes the accomodation, breakfast and dinner, and round trip transportation (to and from Caticlan. If you come from Kalibo, there's a slight additional fee.) - which saves you at least PHP 5000 if you book it separately.

Speaking of booking it with the hotel, the reservation folks in Manila were do courteous and efficient. They made reservations and booking so easy, that early on - I knew I made the right choice in booking this hotel.

Now, upon arrival to Caticlan, they were to usher you to their own private waiting area - just outside the airport. From their, vacation starts. I was utterly suprised and amused that i was not even allowed to touch and carry my bags. The nice folks from the hotel took care of everything, took pictures of us in the private boat, and guided us through until we got to the van that would bring us to the hotel. We felt like celebrities!

After about a 15 minute drive, we finally reached the hotel. You can still see touches of the old architecture of the hotel. For those who don't know, this hotel used to have a previous owner and quite frankly, the design THEN sucked big time. I wouldn't even think of staying here. After the Regency/Hennan group took over, the resort blossomed big time and this is the resort we ended up staying at.

We got a premium room - that had a very excellent view of the pool and the sunset at night. Now, when the hotel renovated itself, it morphed into more of a minimalist, classic design in the hotel and the rooms. Now, we were placed at the old wing. The room was big and spacious. However, it just was a big hard to mix old furniture with new stuff. It just didn't fit.

Now, if you were to compare the design of our room to the new rooms in the new wing, now the new room were gorgeous - top of the line! Guess the hotel didn't have time to renovate all the rooms all at the same time. They're probably saving money by keeping stuff that still works - but if it doesn't mix, throw it away. Or maybe, combine it with something that works.

Anyway, we loved the bath tub and shower. The toilet was an invention out of Japan or something... it had this small tube that comes out at the right time to do it's thing and wash. Funny but classy!

The pools were wonderful. The ones nearest to our end were connected to the Premier rooms/Grand rooms with pool access. There was another set of pools near the restaurant/Garden cafe and the poolside bar.

The pool side bar had a whole set of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy! The barista was also very entertaining and knew how to whip up a conversation with guests.

Food at the Garden cafe was okay. It was filling but somehow, it tasted and was very obvious that it was heated not fresh. However, there was also set of choices that were really tasty. it was just obvious that it had been there for some time. I would have probably enjoyed it more if it was fresher.

The hotel is in the middle of Station 2,so you had quick access to everything. The beachfront area were nice and secured, complete with umbrellas and towels for rent. One thing that they can work on is the beach front sign itself. It was very obvious that it was from the old owners - and it looked so old and worned out. After the renovations within the hotel, they may want to renovate the beach front area as well. It definitely pales in comparison to it's sister hotel - Boracay Regency - or to the other hotels in the area.

Otherwise, no big complaints. They make you feel welcome and cared for in the hotel, and is definitely worth every peso spent. I will definitely go back and stay more nights. I have to enjoy the pools more!

Room Tip: Book directly with the hotel!

The place was nice and clean. The staff friendly and courteous. Would stay again. I enjoyed the setting and easy check in and check out. I wish I would of had more time to stay, Boracay is a jewel of the Philippines.

We stayed for 5 nights.Our stay was very comfortable.The location is very convenient.The pools are very nice.There is a private path to the beach.However the approach to the beach can be improved.The breakfast had a good selection.The buffet dinner is good value for money.Some areas of improvement-
1.More varieties of fruit can be incorporated in the breakfast buffet.
2.All the rooms should have a balcony.We had requested for an early check in which was thankfully granted to us by the hotel.However we had no choice but to take a room without a balcony which can be a bit inconvenient in a beach destination.
3.There should be free Wi Fi connectivity in the entire hotel instead of just the lobby.

The staff is very polite and helpful.All in all a good hotel for an ideal beach holiday.
