Myself and my wife recently holidayed on Boracay for 5 nights, due to it being a busy period we where unable to stay the full 5 nights at the Garden Resort, just as well as I don't think this place is worth the money. We stayed 2 nights then moved to The Red Coconut.

The only thing going for this place is the pool, but who really needs a pool when you have a fantastic beach.

We arrived a little after 2 pm but where told our room would not be ready until 3, such a pain after travelling for most of the day. After getting our room, we where very disappointed. whilst it was extremely large it was in very bad condition and in desperate need of renovating. Wallpaper coming off the wall, furniture old a crappy, bathroom mouldy, a distinct lack of water pressure in the shower, very difficult to have a decent shower.

Breakfast was pretty reasonable, good choices and plenty of it. All the staff we encountered where friendly and helpful.

This was our first and last stay at the Garden Resort. better value for money elsewhere.

Value for money? Far from it

It was indeed a beautiful place to stay. We have a welcome drinks right after we check-in. My family induldge the fresh calamansi (lemon) juice. Coming from overseas who haven't tasted the calamansi juice, was a great treat. I could feel i am home already. WE booked a family room for 4nights and 5 days. It was a massive 2 bedrooms with 3 huge family beds (we can even run inside). The location was perfect, close to the beach, the complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent with great selection of yummy filipino foods. I just love the food.... WE have enjoyed the huge pools. It was crystal white clean water and it is not crowded. The landscape were great. Everything clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, willing to help and have a real smile on their faces. The only downside is the aircon breakdown early in the morning (anyway, it's only two times) and the deafening voices of the korean tourists yucking everywhere. They were very inconsiderate to other guests who have come to boracay to unwind. Seems like they don't have proper breeding. Other than that, it is perfect place to stay. I would love to come back next time i will be home.

Located right in the middle of White Beach at Boat Station 2 and all the action that is Boracay, we found this to be an excellent affordable place to stay. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The resort is not beach front, but that is a plus if you don't like noise from the nightclubs, bands, etc. keeping you awake after you call it quits for the day. Some rooms on the first floor have direct pool access, some are just a few steps away, all rooms have pool views. The pool water was absolutely crystal clear and warm. The entire place is architecturally beautiful, with great landscaping and just begs taking lots and lots of pictures. Access to the beach front is a one to two minute walk from all the rooms through a covered tunnel entrance with small shops in it, thus keeping the noise away from guests at night. The complimentary buffet style breakfasts in the restaurant area by the main pool offer several different cuisine choices for the various nationalities of guests in a very relaxed setting. There is a pool bar for drinks and a counter to get all the pool towels you need while swimming. Any problems you might encounter are quickly taken care of by the smiling and excellent staff members. In-room meals if you wish. I could go on and on. Very affordable rates for the average traveler. We were very pleased with our stay at the resort and are glad to recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Boracay.

Room Tip: I preferred the junior suite next to the main pool over the other rooms with direct pool access. Par...

After a debacle of our pre-booked accomodation in Boracay. We were very fortunate that Boracay Garden Resort was able to accomodate us for a party of six adults and two children very late at night.

We had a very comfortable 4 nights stay in this hotel. In the first night, we stayed in the premier room with pool access. This room was excellent, furnishing and bathroom wise and of course not to mention the pool access. It has its own private pool only shared with the other premier rooms with pool access. However, the location of these rooms were a little bit far from the beachfront access.

We stayed in the deluxe rooms for the rest of our stay in this hotel since the premier rooms with pool access were no longer available. We didn't despair though, the other swimming pools in this hotel were all excellent. However, I find these deluxe room needed a little bit of maintenance or better still an upgrading. The wall paper covering the walls needed some attention. The furnishing were a little bit over used and old. The water closet in the bathroom needed to be replaced since the door was leaking and it was an effort to close the doors. The airconditioning was also making funny noises. However, the airconditioning problem was quickly fix the next day.

The staffs of this hotel were also friendly and were all helpful. They tended to our request promptly with a good service. For example, we requested for our rooms to be insect repellent sprayed and in a couple of minutes an attendant came and sprayed the room.

I have to also mention that the inclusive buffet breakfast was very good. What I am impressed most about this buffet breakfast were the different variety of foods served everyday. There was never a recycled type of dish in our 4 nights stay. These foods (mostly filipino dish) were yummy.

Eventhough, I have some negative comments with this hotel. Set that aside, we still had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. I liked this hotel very much. It is located at station 2 were most of the actions were happening. It was fun and crazy. However, if you want some peace and quiet just stay within the huge beautiful hotel grounds and just laze around the pool. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever I am coming back to Boracay. "What a comfortable stay!!!"

Room Tip: If you want easy access to the beach request for a room close to the beach access. The deluxe rooms...

Stayed at this hotel March 2012 for two nights, three adults and one baby. On our arrival we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room which is a separate building from the rest of the hotel. Our breakfast was included in the room, so much food to choose from of delicious Filipino dishes and pastries including an omlette bar and each morning you get a different selection of foods to choose from!!!
The location of the hotel is right at Station 2 on the beach front which is a short private walk from the hotel. When you get to the beach there is also already a spot with sun loungers for people staying at the hotel and staff are very happy help get you the best seat.
Staff at the hotel are very hospitable friendly people, kept rooms and surrounding very clean.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at this resort for 5 nights. We started in their deluxe room but found it in poor shape. The tv was at least 20 years old and barely watchable. The drain in the bathtub didn't open and close. The glass shower stall was broken and could not be placed back on the tracking making it impossible to close properly. The room simply had been neglected for years.

We moved to a premium room with pool access and it certainly was much nicer. The outstanding factor of this hotel are its swimming pools and location to the beach. I would recommend this resort but beware alot of upgrading of the rooms needs to be done and avoid the cheaper rooms if your budget allows it.
