Sandwiches are really really good, actually better than Subway. I think they are using high quality meat. Their Pandesal is a must try. Chocolate cookies is heavenly. Everything is almost perfect but one thing is for improvement- Customer Service ( staff sitting at the dining area, chatting very loudly)

We've passed by this place numerous times over the past few months, and we always said that we would try it sometime.

Yesterday, we needed a late lunch, so I figured it would be good to surprise the wife by going here. Unfortunately, she didn't feel the same, but she said I could get my lunch there and then she would get her lunch at Andok's.

She complained that we could just make sandwiches at home (we often do), but I wanted to give the place a try, so she relented a bit.

At Subway, we usually order two sandwiches, one a foot-long for me and another 6" sub for her. Since she wasn't going to eat, I only ordered a foot-long for myself, chips and a drink.

At first glance, this place is simply a sandwich shop, albeit about 25% cheaper than Subway. You pay less without the brand name, so it fits.

When looking at the menu boards, I was quite confused. They really need to organize them better. The sandwiches had names that made little sense, so I just ordered the one that looked like it came with the most meat. It cost 295p (US $5.46) for the foot-long version. I was able to choose my fruits and veggies, and I got the sandwich that I expected.

I really couldn't tell any major qualitative difference between this sub and one from Subway, although Subway does offer an easier to understand menu and more bread varieties. This place seems to have fewer meat choices, but that could just be due to my lack of understanding of their confusing menu.

Adding a small bag of chips and a canned beverage (Coke) cost another 75p (US $1.39).

Now, I must admit that I left hungry, but I can't blame the sandwich shop. The sandwich looked so good to my wife that she ate half of it. I wasn't happy about this, but it's a good vote for the food.

My son enjoyed the chips and Coke, so I really didn't get much from the experience. Perhaps, I'll need to go back without them next time. Either that, or I will have to order food for them.

The shop is small, but it is conveniently located, and the prices are good. Give it a try!
