Here's the thing: Rainbow Rooms doesn't actually exist. It's a guy who rents some rooms at a rather shabby place called Casa Camila and then sublets them under the name of Rainbow Rooms. That wouldn't be so bad, if he offered some sort of hotel-like facilities... There's no sign, no reception, no housekeeping, no cleaning and no provisions in the room like soap or toilet paper.
Casa Camila is a rather shabby block of units. I arrived to a very bad reception. The girls looked at me as if was bothering them. The room I booked and prepaid for wasn't available so they took me to a dirty, smelly room and quickly made up the bed and swept the floor. I was quite annoyed at this and more annoyed that I wasn't offered any sort of refund. After a couple of days I was moved to the room I had booked, which was a bit better but still rather shabby and dirty.
The rooms are at the back of the block and there is so much junk in the stair well... It really looks terrible and when you look out the side window, there is lots of rubbish dumped there. The only good thing about the rooms are that they are quite large.
All in all, I think anywhere else on the island is better.
