“Great beech, if you like Ibiza you will luv this place -Yuk !”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

This is one of the best white powdery beeches I have ever seen, offers great sunset's....shame about the loud thump thump music in the background, exhaust fumes from the tricycles, mithering touts....I would say its best to avoid an Island that could have been a really up market development with great hotels better thought out infrastructure and less crowd. The Philippino government really missed a trick here with what was probably one of the world's best islands that could have had a more planned infrastructure with top hotels and an up market presence on a global field, sadly it's ended up being on a par with Blackpool, Ibiza, Magaluf.... Better to go to Panglao Island near Bohol, which still offers a reasonable blend of nice beech, fewer restaurants and a more sedate pace.

“go there early morning”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

This is a gorgeous, picture postcard beach, but it's just too infested with people trying to sell you all kinds of superbly overpriced stuff and services. Go there early morning to enjoy it. Added bonus is that it's cooler at that time of the day. Also, be sure to visit Puka beach and Bulabog beach, which are much nicer IMHO.

“A quiet corner in White Beach?”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

White beach is a long stretch of white sand beach. Stations 1 and 2 are very busy with boats picking up day trippers and lots of noisy tourists milling about on the beach and along the businesses close to the beach.

If you are looking to lounge about and spend a quiet day by the beach, I would recommend station 2. It gets quieter and the beach gets better as you move away from Station 2.

We spent an afternoon at the Pearl of the Pacific resort (we were not staying there) deck chairs which we were allowed to use as long we bought drinks from the bar. This was of course a perfect arrangement. Very attentive and great service from the staff too!

“Impressively white, clean and crazy”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

White beach is basically the main stretch of Boracay Island which is home to the 3 main stations and the most bangin' bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants in the entire island.

To embrace the beauty of Boracay, one needs to go to White Beach. Remove all footwear, stare into the sunset and just receive the aura of life the island offers.

After you're done with that, do your very best to walk the entire beach. It might seem endless though never be disheartened for the walk is worth it.

You will notice how impressively clean the Pinoys keep their beach as their pride.
