I've been to BomBom bar a few times. Sometimes I loved the food (i.e. chicken curry), other times it was bland and nothing special (i.e. pancit bihon). So when it comes to food they are 'hits and misses.' Price is quite reasonable though. And service was quick.

The last time I was there the group at the table right next to us was so loud it made our dinner quite unenjoyable and we had to transfer to a table far away from them. I guess the abundance of drinks at this place allows for people to get a little drunk and inconsiderate.

Anyway, the redeeming factor is definitely the reggae music. Live. Real. Brilliant. The ambiance is dark (it's a bar), low, very beachy and laid back.

If you want to find good music, good crowd, easy on the ears music, plus a great way to enjoy food, then go to this place. It's a little more expensive, but hey, if you're going to have great music and lose yourself in the process, then this is the place for you.

For 4 nights, we always ended up in this place! Although we tried other bars earlier in the night, we still preferred to end our nights on this awesome place because of the relaxing live reggae band and cheap foods and drinks. The staffs are cool, friendly and always looks after guests' requests. The entire atmosphere of the bar was incredible.

It was my Swedish Friends who asked me to join them on this Bar. We sat on the table outside just about infront of the stage playing acoustic music. The ambiance was very nice. very nice music. very friendly staff and the food was nice and very affordable too.

It was the best night band experience we had in the island, we started off listening to acoustic music, the guy loves james taylor which i love too, and he did a couple of filipino songs, its very much suited for group of friends and lovers. The guy smokes and sings and plays the guitar at the same time and he is cool and funny.

This was followed by a raggae band, i never really think raggae is an enjoyable form of music but by 10pm i was on the front of the band dancing and singing along with dozens of other people, i even found myself massaging the shoulders of the lead guitar, thats how fun the band was, they bring pout the happy hippie spirit in people

we even bought their album which they usually sell before they start playing, it was for 1000PHP, a bit pricey for a small number of songs on the CD, but hey, its a great band and we should support great talents

you got to wait though to order drinks as the staff are outnumbered so orders may come in a bit delayed
