Did some helmet diving and island-hopping with my husband here and it was beautiful. Water is warm and clear (when it's not rainy), and the fish and coral are beautiful.

I was a little disappointed in some of the garbage/pollution at the bottom when we were snorkelling, so hopefully they develop stricter regulations.

When here to windsurf, problem is that the water in the back beach is rather still and therefore has plenty of sea grass. Great for little critters but not so good for water sport.

I came on a low season so this beach is calmer and less windy than white beach. But don't swim here cause its dirty and muddy. Lots of local people selling water activity here and will bring you in the middle of the sea by boat. If you rode a boat, look down and you will see lots of starfish in the bottom of the sea! :D

If you like kitesurfing, surfing or similars are excelent beach. Is the beach ! but if you like beach to take a rest , drink ... is not the beach. You need go to see the diferent " rocket beach ", is not to swim. But you have bars at top of "rock beach" and can drink a beer and enjoy the sundown.

We were there last week which is still rainy season. The high winds and seas on the other side of the island at White Beach meant that as this is the non windy or rather less windy side of the island, and it still ha white sand, it should be great. However, in the mornings the waters edge is full of boats all offering day trips to the islands and remoter beaches or dives in virus key sites. The result is that there very little water to swim in. Even when the boats are out the bottom is soon mud rather than sand and there is a field of kelp to wade through. So at high tide it's pretty to look at, at low tide you might be better off on White Beach.
