“Best fine dining on the island”
Reviewed March 14, 2012

If you are looking for a fine dining experience with wonderful food, service and a view then you can't go past Rima. My husband and I found they served the best food on the island, as well as a pretty good wine selection. We were staying at the Shangri-la so ate here more than once but even if you are staying in White Beach it would be worth a visit for a special night out.

“Gorgeous Italian food”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

Worth the extra money. Lovely setting up high in the treetops - nice to get a buggy up there. Attentive service from the waitresses - good quality food.

“Probably the best food in Boracay”
Reviewed January 24, 2012

The food was so good that we dined here twice during a 5 night stay in Boracay. I thought it was much better than Solana, the resort's seafodd restaurant.

Good service (the wait staff knew their menu) and a few excellent dishes (e.g. the prawn and asparagus cannelloni).

The treetop setting is also wonderful -- if only one could see more of the lush forest.

“Great Italian”
Reviewed December 2, 2011

very good Italian food. We found this restaurant in the good diners guide in Lemon Cafe. Pricey, think we paid $150 Aussie for entree and main alltogether. Reccomend it, especially the scallops which is their signature.

“Romantic”
Reviewed November 7, 2011

As I am based overseas, and would like to surprise my partner with a romantic dinner while we are in Boracay, i needed to make preparations before I arrive in Manila. And Rima F and B manager Joyce made sure we had a very unforgettable night.

Thru email, she sent me the menu and took note of my special requests like a bouquet of peach roses, and even waived the corkage for our sparkling wine.

We were billeted in another nearby resort (Nami), and a van from Shangri-la fetched us to/from Nami. Driver Myke was efficient and helpful.

From Rima lobby, we were greeted by Joyce and ushered to our outdoor table. Rima is a small resto, maybe can seat a max of 50 people, is nicely decorated and very intimate with all those soft lights and lush greenery.

Highly recommend the squid ink pasta, and lobster pasta. We also loved Bacala cooked in parchment paper. For dessert my partner loved her pyramid ice cream with bailey sauce.

There is not much in the wine list, but I guess you can opt to bring your own and hope that corkage fee is waived.

Loved this place, a bit pricey but we think its worth the experience of a wonderful romantic evening.
