The whole atmosphere of the place is awesome -- tons of guys selling fish and other types of seafood in a really cool market. Buy your fish, take it to a nearby stall and have it cooked. My fiance is a huge seafood fan and loved the red snapper and prawns she had. I am not much of a seafood guy, so I had some beef. My beef was pretty overcooked, but then again, you don't go to a fish market expecting to eat a good cut of meat. If you're looking for fresh seafood and an interesting dining experience, check it out.

This is similar to D'Mall with its collection of shops lining alleys, but less crowded in our experience. The merchandise is slightly cheaper than in D'Mall, although the quality not as high and the brand not recognizable, but we were happy with our purchases after some successful bargaining.

We came here for the wet market though. We purchased our own seafood (an assortment of tuna, grouper, squid, prawns, crabs and oysters) and vegetables and brought them over to Micah's Kitchen (located a stone's throw) where the food was cooked in the local style. One in the party had shellfish allergy and had no problems with food contamination.

We were quite happy with the taste of the food, and the service received from this place. We spent around USD120 for a group of 12, and we found this dining experience to be very good value for money. In the end we came away well-satisfied with no available tummy space for dessert!

The price is of the live seafood is cheap if you bargain with them about 30 to 40% lower with the price offer by them. Go to the nearby shop and ask them cook it for you, cooking fee is at 140 php/kg.

People were friendly and can buy interesting souvenirs.
Can buy fresh seafood and have it cooked at the shops nearby or can take it anywhere.

buy fresh Seafoods and have it cooked the way you like it in one of the kitchens nearby. It's a lot cheaper that dining on the white beach and the best thing is, you're shopping your own raw foods, What an experience!
