“Local scene - fresh fish, prawns, lobster”

Best dinning option in town. You chose the seafood and take it to the cooking you want and have it the way you want it! Great experience and rightly priced!

“if you know how to bargain, this is your place!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

There are a lot of things/souvenirs here that you can buy. You must know how to ask for a bargain, and you'll have a blast! Look around first so you can compare prices.

“Fresh seafoods, authentic Aklanon delicacy!”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

It's a must do in Boracay island. At the talipapa market you can buy different varieties of seafoods from univalves, bivalves, fishes to lobster. Aklanons are very kind, so you can ask a discount, bid or bargain. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity that caters cooking services depending on your preferences. Perfect for groups and persons with large storage(lol).

“The answer to all seafood cravings! MUST GO HERE. MUST EAT HERE.”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Boracay prices have become very touristy, and this is most evident in the restaurants. Good thing there's D' Talipapa, located between stations 2 and 3, where after ogling the freshest catch, you haggle a bit for a better price, pick your heart's desire, have the seafood cooked according to your wishes [in our case, for prawns, it's chili garlic; for scallops, it's garlic with olive oil; for squid, it's grilled and stuffed with onions and tomatoes; and for crabs, it's chili butter or chili garlic or olive oil and garlic], and savor the fresh bounty of the sea. Sublime yumminess!!!

To our surprise, there were even eateries which were airconditioned. We chose to have our food to go, though, as we had company waiting back in the resort.

After feasting on seafood from D' Talipapa, i can't imagine wanting to have my seafood from any other restaurant.
