I ordered pizza, on the basis that if they listed 6 different ones they must know how to cook them.
Big mistake. The pizza was supposed to be thin and crispy but the base was soft and undercooked. The topping bore no relation to the description. It was supposed to be barbecued chicken but contained tiny cubes of chicken, stained pink. The whole thing was tasteless and had either been cooked in a very cool oven or in a microwave. I left it all and asked for the bill. The waitress wasn't the slightest bit interested in the fact that it wasn't eaten. No one had asked if the food was ok. When I pointed out that the pizza was inedible I got zero response.
I had waited over 50 minutes from ordering, so you would have thought they would have had time to cook it properly.
Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.

Being back again after almost a year, we heard from different people that they love the restaurant. We went last year, without a good result - but desided too give it a try again.

We got spareribs, 1 pizza and a meditteranian salat and a bottle of redwine.

First of all we waited 1 hour after ordering and we asked for our food, which came shortly after.

The spareribs as the arrived - luke-warm with some veggies that were overcooked - as our grandmothers did it. The ribs was well cooked but tasteless and the barbecue tasted next to nothing.
The Pizza looked nice and delicate - but tasted next to nothing as well. Except for the crust, which should have been used for cakes.
The salat was half an iceberger, not cut with some tomates and in fact a nice Feta - but without fantasy.
The wine was fine and one of the best priced on the island.

But if you want to look for nice dinning on Boracay - forget it. You can go here for the nice atmosphere, nice staff and the quite cheap junk-food.

Firstly do not expect Boracay as a whole to have the best food in the world! Secondly don't it expect fast service in the Philippines! But i can assure you Cowboy Cocina is worth the wait... Loved the burgers, Spaghetti and Pizza. If you want a restaurant where you really can't go to far wrong with your order then this is the place!
