“It's near everything, chic, and hidden away from the crowds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2010

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room in this hotel. Two double beds, a bathroom, a closet, a TV, dimmer lights, sliding doors, a patio. My friends even kept on asking me the price that I paid for the room because they could hardly believe it only cost that much. One friend even planned to bring his family to Boracay and stay in BGP. It's near Station 1, and the restaurants are a few steps away. I'd definitely go back. (oh ,and did I mention the buffet breakfast on my last day?)"

It isn't really a hotel as they don't have the facilities that a hotel has to offer. More like a bed and breakfast kind of setting. There were ants in the room, even in the refrigerator. There was a centipede in the toilet. The shower head wasn't working well. Waterflow was slow. The amenities provided for was basic - toothbrush and soap. The toilet has no space for you to put your toiletries. It has a sink with no vanity top. The shower has a small soap dish. I chose not to put my toiletries on the floor as there was a centipede. There was no floor mat and cups. The towels provided had stains on them. Breakfast was okay. You get to choose 1 from 3 or 4 choices. Staff had no uniform - hence, you do not know if they are staff or not. You'll have to observe everyday and recognise them. They don't speak much English. No room service. We booked the Deluxe room if I remember it correctly. It came with 2 double beds and luckily we booked that as there was only a small cupboard and no place for us to put our baggage. The floor was sandy - unavoidable as Boracay is filled with sand. Luckily we had the other bed for us to put our items on - which was eventually filled with things. The bed had no comforter. It had only a thin sheet of cloth for us to use as blanket. Lucky for us again, we used the other thin sheet from the next bed to block out the cold wind from the aircon that was directly above us. Oh, it has massage service too but beware. The price stated on the menu isn't really the price stated. It depends if the staff is able to get the masseur from the place they usually get their masseur from. We were accused of underpaying when we were not even told so. We insisted on going by the price indicated on the menu.

The good points about this place is that it has free wireless and that it is near the beach.
