We found that the friends of one of our older kids worked at this place called the “Bite Club” and knowing that I liked the Steam Punk genre, the kids were sure to make sure I knew about this place.

A few days into the trip we made a point of dropping in for lunch and we were not disappointed. First off this place fills up quick during peak eating hours so be prepared to sit in an awkward booth, share a table with others or wait until one opens up.

We took the awkward table but made it clear we wanted to transfer as soon as a normal table opened up. They obliged. As soon as the food came out we were transferred. The timing could not have been more perfect.

While we waited we enjoyed some fruity drinks to help re-hydrate from the intense tropical sun. What we did order was the Triple X burger. This thing sounded huge and we were assured it was good for four normal people. It was essentially a half kilo of ground beef in a very fresh bun.

When it came out we were awestruck. I have not yet seen a burger this big. I know there are bigger ones out there but for the Philippines this was an impressive find. Even better was that it was only just over 500p. You do get to add one extra topping to your burger, with the many toppings already provided and you get to choose one type of two different types of fried potatoes offered.

When your food is ready it comes down on a steampunk contraption of pipes and other gizmos, chains and pulleys in what was really just a tricked out “dumbwaiter”. It would even issue forth “steam”. The rest of the eatery was decked out in the steampunk motif. Photos added.

This is an open restaurant. This will usually be a very crowded restaurant during peak dining hours. Despite the crowd then food came out fairly quickly and it was presented nicely. The wait staff was very professional, courteous and quick to serve.
This is a must visit place if you enjoy fast food type fare and/or enjoy the Steam Punk genre.

I liked their burgers with fries and a chocolate shake. The food is worth it for the price. I even had a hard time finishing it.

There was even a burger so big that you can share it for probably 2-4 persons that we saw from the other group of people dining near us (depending on how good your appetite is). They also ordered a tall shake. I didnt catch the name of it. But its the tallest shake I ever saw.

I guess it is somewhat good on people with tight budget.

Our whole family dined here in September to celebrate two birthdays in our family. The burgers are pretty good. Not amazing beef, but remember the Philippines are known for beef! The rolls were the part I disliked the most, just not the right flavor and texture. The stuffed burgers were the best and there's lots of toppings. The fries (both kinds) are great here too
