checked in on 1st Jan, receptionist told us that our booking is cancelled by GTS. we need to pay
Peso13,000 a night if GTS has not confirmed booking by 2nd Jan morning. Morning came without any phone call to us. We went to see receptionist in front desk for confirmation. She checked and confirmed the booking by simply not apologising the stress which she has given us night before, especially after the delay of flight and long journey.
Towels are dirty and not allowed to be changed for whole day in pool and beach. Towel station is
far away from beach.

stayed at "Paradise" Garden for 4 days & 3 nights.
when we made a reservation, we had to make a FULL payment within 3hrs time after talking to an agent. No problem, if thats how it is... check in time is 2:00 pm but because of a very loooooong travel to get to Boracay we got there aroumd 5:30ish pm. we were on the road since 4:00AM, so obviously me & my bf were exhausted and hungry and counting on laying in bed after chacking in...( abroad type - go to the counter, give 2 pcs of i.d. and the front desk hands you the key 3min max) BUT NO! it took them 15-20 min to check our reservation, then when they double check it with us, theyve put in 3 days 2 nights, again we had to wait intil they get it all fix!
when everything was done, my bf sat beside me on the couch & told me we had to wait for 30min because someone complaint about the "hot" shower in the room not working, so the front desk suggested that we go to the restaurant and have our dinner and they will let us know when the room is ready within 1/2hr time, so we did went but just to get some drinks which they didnt succeeded in providing my mango margarita because they " run out" of mango, so i chose another one, ( i coulnt remember the 2nd drink) then the server came back and said " maam im sorry but we dont have this & that because the bar by the beach took our supplies. ( wOW seriously? how can you open another bar if you dont have enough supplies, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, POOR SERVICE IN FRONT DESK ALSO POOR SERVICE AT THE RESTAURANT) so i ended up not ordering ANYTHING at all. 40min have gone by & still no one is approaching us, so we decided to go back and asked if the room is ready yet and of-couse! It is NOT YET READY!
so my bf & i were thinking, what if we got here at 2:00 check in at 2:00 ? what are they going to do?
why didnt they fix the shower as soon as the prev occupants left?
why'd they waited to fix the shower until we got there?
yet they didnt offer anything even just a simple snacks ! yet they know we were hungry because we did mention to them as soon as they asked how we were when we arrived at the front desk!
i wanted to cry because i was so damn exhausted and i wanted to get inside that damn suite to rest and because of the stressed they've caused us.

I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER WANNA COME BACK HERE NOR REFFER "PARADISE" GARDEN TO ANYONE.
I WOULDN'T WANT ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT WE HAVE GONE THROUGH.

furnitures are outdated, bathroom doors needs to be scrub, bedroom's A/C was loud.
room V14
cost: P49, 336.00 <---- NOT WORTH IT
date arrived --dec 27 - 30.
also if you accidentally put stains in beddings it'll cost you, everything will cost you thats why we were afraid to use towels, sleepers, dishes, toothbrush, etc. because we were afraid that the hotel will charge us.

Stayed there for 3 nights with friends. We arrived in late evening. It take big time for room allotment. Lobby was very small and even with Sofa with few plastic chairs. NO PROPER seating arrangement in lobby. Service rendered by bell boy and other staff was good. Room I stayed was very fine. It was facing Swimming pool. We have taken 1 dinner, 1 lunch and 3 breakfast there. Food was horrible. For veg. lovers, NO OPTIONS available in restaurant. Salad and fruits.

Room Tip: 203. It is a nice room Pool facing. I have not seen other rooms.

The drinks at the restaurant and bar are some of the most over priced on the island. A mixed drink that would cost 120 pesos at most places cost 240 pesos at there bar. Try a local beer that cost 35 pesos at some bars with the more expensive bars charging 80 pesos. paradise Gardens charges 110 pesos for the same beer. And all these highly inflated prices are before VAT is added, so add another 12 per cent.
The service was terrible with the bar staff more interested in flirting with girls then serving customers.
Stay well away from this place and you would save a small fortune. They don't even mix the drinks that strong compared with other places.

We saw their buffet while walking on the beach and we decided to try it for dinner. Good selections for their price per person plus a bit of entertainment.

Some of the items are the usual buffet items but a few of the dishes were really, really exceptional. They have fresh 'lechon' (roast pig) that they have just roasted beside the restaurant during the afternoon, chili crabs, steamed lapu-lapu (fish) and about 4 kinds of sushi. They also offer a selection of seafood and skewered pork belly grilled on the spot.

Make sure you leave room for desserts as they have colorful 'palitaw' (a kind of sticky rice cake) and halo-halo.

When we asked for service water, they told us that there was none because the water filtering system does not work during brownouts. Later, a group from a government agency came in and they were served with service water so we asked the waitress about it. She said that water was now available - so we got some. However, I noticed that they did not serve water to the other patrons - I guess it's best to bring your own drinking water next time.

As for the entertainment, it really depends on your taste. They had an ethnic band when we dined and although I am a music lover, the music was too loud for my liking. We also didn't like the fire dance mainly because of the permeating smell of gasoline from the lamps the dancers were using. Next time, we will choose a table far from the stage.

Great quality food and good menu for both lunch and dinner buffet. They also had live bands and fire dancers for entertainment during meal. A bang for the buck place! Will definitely eat here again when back in Boracay
