It was my fourth time in Boracay. been to different hotels in the island, but nothing compares my stay at Island Jewel Inn. It was referred to us by Ms. Amalia Aragon. i love the location of the inn. it is just a walking distance from the beach. most of the fun activities maybe found in Station 2, but still i prefer the location of Island Jewel Inn (Station 3). I love the ambiance of the inn... peace and quiet... ideal for a relaxing vacation. the room was so romantic with huge comfortable bed. it has refrigerator and safety deposit box. besides, if i want to be at station 2, it is just a motorcab ride away (fare P15). Island Jewel Inn can also provide other services and activities available in the island.. from hiking to scuba diving. it can also arrange spa services from well known establishments. will definitely stay at Island Jewel Inn in my next visit in Boracay. hope it will be soon!

Room Tip: it has safety deposit box in each room. it is just a walk away from the front beach (beach in the a...

Island Jewel is situated in Station 3, which i felt was the more rustic and quiet part of White Beach. It is a minute's walk to the beach, and in case your trike driver doesn't know where it is, it's right next to Tree House Beach Resort.

It's about a 20min walk / 45min stroll to D'Mall, but if you're loathe to walk that far, Station 3 has great spots for food and massages! We loved that we were incredibly close to good shakes at Coco Loco, delicious tempura at Nagisa (try the ampalaya too!), had a cheap foot massage at Yasuragi, breakfast at Cowboy Cocina, and an amazing 4 hour massage/pedicure at Bella Isa.

Island Jewel's room was clean, and the water heater worked fine. They do not provide shampoo/conditioner, but just soap so bring the necessary toiletries. They provide fresh towels everyday, which is great. Wifi also worked - it's not super fast, but the connection held strong throughout our stay (we were in room 21, the 2nd floor).

Our power tripped on our 1st night, and there's no phone to call the front desk. Thank goodness my husband could recall where the power box was, so we managed to get the power back. The aircon is also a little weak, took awhile for the room to cool down and be less musty, and blankets were thin and pillows lumpy... but we slept really well! We were in Island Jewel a total of 2 nights, and it was a pleasure.

I also have to give thanks to Vanessa the receptionist/manager (? i have no idea but seems like she was running the place, since i didn't see anyone else) who was always smiling and offering to help us make calls to confirm our bookings with local tours. She was always quick to reply my emails, even when i was simply asking how the weather was like over in Boracay.

All in all, the stay in Island Jewel was cheap and the standard was definitely better than most other venues with a similar price point. Give them a try!

Room Tip: If Wifi is important to you, let Vanessa know when you're making your booking.

We enjoyed our stay at Island Jewel Inn. It was very clean and organized. We loved how close it was to the beach. Although Boat Station 2 has more going on than Boat Station 3, we enjoyed the quietness of the beach during the day (and it's only about a 10-15 minute walk to D'Mall, etc.). The only issues were the wi-fi and the fact that they didn't take credit cards. I would definitely stay at Island Jewel again.

PROS:
• queen-sized beds in all rooms
• less than a minute walk to the beach
• tours and airport transfer services available for P510 per person (hotel to Kalibo airport)
• reasonable room rates
• very quiet and clean place
• welcome drinks upon check-in
• free WiFi
• clean, spacious toilet with complete toiletries; heater available
• A/C, cable TV, security vault and fridge available in room
• friendly, accommodating staff

CONS:
• they do not accept credit cards
• no double or twin beds, extra bed costs P500 per night
• a bit far from restaurants, the nearest are Tree House Restaurant and Nagisa Coffee Shop
• no pool or gym (although I'm not really after these)
• poor WiFi signal inside our room, it goes on and off when able to connect; Little Pearl (inn) nearby has a better signal that our gadgets are able to recognize it instead of our own hotel's
• the room's clean but I noticed that our bed sheet's got a stain on it, but I didn't have it replaced as I did not want anyone going in the room until we're gone (my preference most of the time, nothing to do with the staff as they all seem trustworthy)
• no beach view, only other hotels or trees to see out the window or the balcony

Great value in a quiet spot 1 minute walk from the beach. Clean comfortable rooms with Wi Fi.. If that's all you're after book this place. Vanessa at the front desk is lovely, lots of help and always greets you with a smile. Special mention to the night watchman, he is a legend

Island Jewel Inn is the best hotel i ever stayed during my visit in Phylippines. The location is in quiet station 3 and extremly close to the beautiful beach.(only 1 minute walk from hotel). You can find lots of various restaurants around the hotel. And also if you want to go to the most crowded place on the Boracay(D'Mall), it'll take only 20 minutes.
Our room is private with restrooms. Room's are very clean and you can find almost everything you expexted from a hotel. The wifi is very fast and staff will help to tidy up the room everyday.
People in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The owner of this hotel comes from British and very nice. He introduced the island hooping tour to us and even provide some bread for us to feed fish. Receptionist-dear Miss Venassa-is very nice and beautiful. She joined us in island hooping tour.
If we go to Boracay in next time, we will definitly choose this hotel for our stay there. Thanks to you all and Merry Chirstmas!
Oh, the only thing we would like to give you sugguestion is that if the hotel can provide breakfast every morning, it's will be even better!
