The Chocolate Hills were not so great for travelling with little kids. There is a long stair case to climb (alternatively there is a ramp for strollers) and then you can look out over the landscape. There are also the regular touristy shops at the bottom for t-shirts and all things Bohol. You can do funny photos at the top but with little kids and a long drop off it wasn't too worthwhile.

The Choco Hills are the 7th wonder of the world!!! Wow, this is a must see when you come to Bohol! It is alot of stairs to climb but it is worth it and you can make stops along the way up for picture taking or sit at some of the rest stops along the way. There are souveniers at the bottom, which I bought some. This is a great place to see one of the wonders of the world!

can't find the right words to describe this. It's so phenomenal. So amazing how mother nature has created such a pretty and interesting place.

Actually, it might become more real "chocolate" hills in a dry season. But when we came the hills were kind of green, probably "mint" flavour of Chocolate hills. ^_^

Some legend has it that all these hills were the giant "Carabao" (buffalo)'s poo poo. This giant Carabao ate all the villagers crops so they drugged him with some rotten food and that Carabao fell sick and poo poo all over.

a must see!

Always wanted to see them and I'm glad I made the effort.
They look great,
It's a long drive from the port if you've come over from Cebu.
But a good tour guide can take you via the floating restaurant.
Zip line/cable car ride over a gorge.
And an in cage hands on visit to a 240kg python.

My family came to visit about 3 years ago. But will come back on January next year.

The viewing deck at the hotel is the most beautiful area to view the hills. You can see hundreds of them scattered, some are in pattern too. We went there month of September, so the hills were not cholatey at all but the brown and green grasses somehow mixed the
and I say its much more beautiful. Less tourists also for that month, so we had the viewing deck almostl by ourselves.

A must see if happen to be in Cebu.
