Lu Li Island is one of the closest islands to Puerto Princesa City. It's small but there's no need to hop from one island to another when all you need for water fun is in this island. Fine white sand and clear blue water perfect for snorkeling and swimming. There's also fish feeding, diving, banana boat riding, kayaking, everything that makes a beach experience fun is here! And hey, have you seen Nemo? He's here, too!

Cons: Limited food choices but we learned that the resort is just starting to offer food and they are upgrading their restaurant services.

Tip: Bring a snorkeling gear, the resort has few snorkeling gears. Don't remove your life vest if you are not a good swimmer, there are parts of the water that's really deep. Never leave Lu Li without trying their diving board, it's fun!

Never go to your Honda Bay tour without Lu Li Island!

Paid 1,200 pesos for the Honda Bay Island hopping. This was our first stop. Water was not too clear as it was raining. Remember there was a dive board on a floating platform.

Very nice and refreshing! Don't forget to bring snorkels, wear aqua shoes, and don't remove your life vest. Go feed the fishes with simple bread, they will come and you will see how everyone struggles to get a piece.

If you've been to the White Island in Camiguin, then this is similar to that, only the White Island is prettier and bigger. We were advised not to go near the mangroves as there are scorpion fish and that the caretakers of the island don't have the anti-venom. We were only allowed to go near the floating "fortress" where you can feed the fish upfront and swim with them. There is also a diving board there and was told that the water is about 10 to 15 ft deep. We didn't try it though.

Suggestions: Bring your snorkeling gears if Honda Bay (island hopping) is part of your itinerary. This is to avoid paying a quite amount of money by just renting them. If you don't have a waterproof camera, make sure to bring a waterproof case with you.
