I don't normally post comments but I was really disappointed with this hotel.

It's new and has a nice reception and overall facade. But that's it! - Receptionists are cold, they don't make you feel welcome. My blanket was so stinky (badly washed) and the curtains in the room is loud orange that when the sun hits it, my eyes sore. I had to add drapes to the door!

Poor breakfast (well I guess its because its a promo).. and out of the 3 days we stayed there - my kids NEVER swam in the pool. Maintenance said filter is not always on, no wonder the water was blue GRAY.

If you are just going to sleep here and go out the whole day - avoid this hotel, its far from the main road and the amenities are not worth it.

PS We requested LATE check out and they said its not possible - - only to find out that the very room we stayed in wasn't to be occupied till NIGHT time! how accommodating is that?

Room Tip: Choose rooms that's not an afternoon sun.

Very impressed with this hotel! Really cannot have any complaints about the place if you consider the price you pay! Very good value for money.
Slightly removed from downtown - but tricycles are always waiting in front of the entrance and a few minutes ride (50peso) will get you downtown and basically where you want to be. Very close to the airport.
Rooms are big and spacious, cleaned daily, I found the bed to be standard - did ask for an extra pillow which was charged.
Pool big and a great treat at the end of a day spent sightseeing - just to relax, cool down and have a drink outside.
The staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful at the front desk - the 2 girls Lovely and Jo-an - and not to mention Eric the manager who always came up for a quick chat and to hear how you are doing. 2 thumbs up for customer service!!!
Will definately recommend this hotel and for sure stay here again.

PS - 2 suggestions (if these are seen to - I would rate it 5/5 )
1 - would be nice to have some mini fridges in the rooms to store drinks, water, fruit, etc.
2 - the breakfast can really do with some upgrades ~ little bit more international selection and some more spices and make some dishes more tasty!

Room Tip: Ask for a room towards the back next to the pool - easy access to the pool and yet little bit remove...

This hotel is only 5mins away from the airport, excellent location. Free wifi connection which is fast and still good even inside the rooms. Designs and layout of this hotel is attractive and modern. Good sized pool. There's a pool table and darts in the reception area. Rooms are big enough even for 4 people without being crowded. Bathrooms are ok too. Has the potential to be a top "boutique" hotel in the area but need to sharpen up their staff training and customer service esp in the restaurant and housekeeping areas. Breakfast is supposed to be buffet but is basic with very limited choice and no fresh fruits at all. They were served in an erratic manner which is confusing to understand WHY !!!!

It is 5 minutes away from the airport unfortunately it is far from everything else. You need to take a trike to get somewhere, not good for senior citizens unless you want to ride their shuttle at P300 one way. The rooms of Acacia are ver spacious. The bed is pretty hard but it is just right for my back problem. The pillows are not good though as if there is nothing under your head. You will need extra which they charge for an extra P50!!!! This is the first hotel I've been to that charges for extra pillows. The shower is just ok. Bring your own shampoo, soap and toothpaste. What they have is of poor quality. The aircon in my kids' room was pretty useless. The pool is quite small and not so clean. I suggest you eat out. Food is not good. We ordered sizzling squid and it had about 5 small pieces and the rest were onions. The sisig tasted ok but it was made up mostly of toasted liver. If there is one thing I like about them, it's their staff. They are very helpful and friendly. They were helpful from the time I booked to the time we left. They even reserved our dinner at Badjao retaurant and KaLui.

it was a nice small hotel. The rooms are big enough. Although the mattress of the extra bed that I paid for was rock-tough and it squeaks.
My blanket smells per-fumy but my son complains about his blanket is stinky! (it was, actually)
Breakfast was included in the room rate but it was very limited to just egg, rice and tocino or sausage.
We also tried the ala carte but.. it was a disappointment.
Friendly & helpful staff.
To the management, please pay attention to details like mattress, blanket, etc..

Room Tip: bring your own pillow and blanket if you are particular to a cozy sleep. Mattress are super firm.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. We are always open to improve our quality in hotel service. We have taken the action in ensuring that all linens should be washed without traces of odd smell. In terms of our food choices, we really introduce Filipino breakfast as complimentary breakfast serving which we believe is adequate, international menu is always available in the restaurant should you wish to order. We try to keep our room rate as afforadable as possible but not sacrificing the quality.

New property that was a vast improvement on another that we moved from in the same area.
Large clean room with everything required, and nice pool area (although it could benefit from a few more sun umbrellas about the place for shade)
Nice complex, reasonable restaurant although the service at times could be a bit hit and miss. Mango smoothie highly recommended.
Handy airport shuttle, and short trike ride into centre of town. Might pay to make sure you take the address / a hotel card with you when you go out, as it is a fairly new place not all the trike drivers seem to know where it is yet we found.

This hotel was exceptional with a wonderful pool area. The rooms were spacious, overlooking the pool and restaurant. The restaurant was good value for dinner and the inclusive breakfast was adequate. Our first stay included buffet style breakfasts but this changed to a set menu a week later. The staff were always helpful, proactive and courteous. Airport pick-up and drop-off was a bonus. The room had an electric jug and coffee sachets - a first for the trip.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms provide easiest access to pool and restaurant. Rooms at the back remove you from...
