Very thrilling experience. A true wonder of nature! A must do! It take 2 hours by road from Puerto Princesa to get to the place where you take a Philippine banca outrigger to the Underground River but it's worth the trip.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

What can I say!? It is one of the seven natural wonders of the world! That says it all!
One thing I appreciate is the local authorities' move to impose a carrying capacity limit of visitors. This will ensure that the generations after us will still have the chance to see this awesome natural wonder.
I would advise tourists to smother exposed skin with insect repellant to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes.

“Place to Visit before you Die.”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

It's awe inspiring and jaw dropping tobe inside this underground river labrynth. As you slowly enter the maze, your imagination will run wild of stories and myths that you grew up with when you were a child. But then, when your boat turn around and heads to the exit..your greeted with the bright light from the sun and you will suddenly feel the gratitude of being a witness to motner natures wonder.

“Nice place. But nothing extra ordinary”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

The water and beach around the place is great. But nothing extraordinary inside the cave. But since this is one of the 7 wonders, its nice that i get the chance to experience it.

“A highlight for sure”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

You expect a lot from one of the 7 new wonders of the world and maybe that can be a problem. It is indeed amazing and beautiful, but maybe not as much as some people expect.

Anyway, if you goo to Palawan, you cannot afford to miss it.

Here are a few tips:
* No need to organise the permit yourself, that will not save you anything
* The whole trip is not really cheaper if you organise it yourself and doing it yourself is quite inconvenient if not annoying because of transportation. If you have a car, things are different of cause.
* About 3 billion travel offices and all hotels in PP offer this tour, it is always the same and official prices are equal. A little bit of bargaining is always possible and saves you a few hundred PHP. If you book it together with Honda Bay trip, you certainly can get a bigger discount.
* Expect not too much from the lunch included in the tour. It is OK, but nothing to remember.
