“If you have a sense of Adventure, don't miss this!”

Gener and his crew are the best people to take you down this adventure path in Palawan. He has so much experience and knowledge and you are guaranteed to learn a few things from him. The trek up the jungle and rafting down the rivers and amazing. The family we stayed with by the Babuyan River are so hospitable and very warm. Camping on the island at Honda Bay was a different flavour to the trip. Spend your night counting how many shooting stars you see.
Gener is such a great cook so you will be guaranteed for delicious meals throughout. The whole journey is a great way to escape from the concrete jungle , enjoy the simple pleasures of nature and a truly humbling experience.

“Simply perfect - we'll be back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

This trip (3days 2nights on a raft and sailing boat over Chinese New Year) was one of the BEST outdoor experiences we've ever made and we will definitely come again!!!!

We had three absolutely fantastic days with Gener and his crew. And of course our lovely hosts for the first night - Amador, Amador jun. and Mascarinas. It was so much fun to drink, sing and dance with all of them until late.

From the beginning to the end this trip was perfectly organized by Gener who is simply the best guide you can ask for. He is not only a very, very likable guy who is fluent an English - he is a real outdoorsman, equipped with all skills one need to have to be out there: great knowledge about Palawan's flora and fauna combined with a big sense for the ecology, fantastic cooking skills, a big network and navigation skills on the raft and his awesome sailing boat.

Don't miss this tour if you want to make a unique experience, see the beautiful Babuyan River from a different point of view and of course the awesome islands at Honda bay!!!

“Incredible experience! Best way to know Honda Bay and around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2012

I went with a couple of friends and my partner. We enjoyed and had a lot of fun. Is a really good option if you need some adventure and contact with nature. Gener is an excellent guide, and he cooked sooo good! He does everything you need and want.
The trip around the river was really beautifull, you can really relax with all the trees, the sound of the river and wild animals that you can sometimes find. Is very beautiful to see the union between the river and the sea, and see how the vegetation changes when you are arriving to the sea.
I can highly recomend this trip, the attention, food and landscapes are amazing. Is a pleasant adventure.

“A wonderful trip - hiking, canoeing, sailing and relaxing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2012

A great experience. Beginning with a short jungle hike to the river, followed by a peaceful paddle down a beautiful river on a locally made bamboo raft, until a break for a 5 star lunch made by Gener, who runs the expeditions. More paddling to our rustic night stop. A lovely welcome by Ador, on whose farm we stayed, and where we had yet another fabulous meal after G&Ts with ice!!!! Gener and his lovely helpers think of everything, and all are great ecologists. The following day we reached the sea and transfered to the sail boat. Despite choppy waters and monsoon rain we reached a paradise island of white sands and glorious shells, mangroves and kingfishers. A fun, happy adventure.
