“Best Kept Secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2014

A lot of pizza places in Puerto claim to serve the best pizza in the City but the pizza in Hibiscus Garden is hands-down the best of them all!

“Nice Pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2014

Hence the name, good pizza at your door step.
Stayed in Hibiscus Garden Hotel.
The café is a nice quiet place where guest can sit and chill out.
Pizza is served fresh from the oven and on to your plate!

“The pizza is excellent.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014

The restaurant is within the grounds of the hotel, it is delightfully peaceful and rustic with the ubiquitous geckos on the wall. Despite the rustic appearance there is meticulous attention to detail giving a fine dining feel to the meal. As previously stated in reviews there is an authentic wood fired pizza oven that gives a wonderful woody tast to the thin crust, crispy around the edge and soft towards to centre. My particular favourite is not actually on the menu but can be requested at 50 peso more than the usual and that is a quattro fomagio, it was authentic Italian flavour with just a hint of a Philippine in the spicing. I would definitely recommend the Chianti as an accompaniment - quite acid to the first mouthful but mellowing as you work down the bottle and it oxidises slightly. There are some excellent local oferings on the menu also, my wife likes the lemon fillet and I have enjoyed the garlic squid.

“Hidden treasures. ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014 via mobile

It's a lovely little pocket of paradise close to the heart of the city.Rooms are simple but charming and very affordable.Lush plantation with sculptures amidst the tropical greenery.
The pizza is the best you can get anywhere and the Kinilaw is definitely better than anywhere I ate in the Philippines.
Definitely worth a meal and a stay.
