Ugong rock is for adventurers.. Though I did not ride the zip line I can see in our group how the young people enjoyed the ride, The display in the reception area are amazing how the locals created those wood carvings!

We just stumbled across this mountain when we had booked the underground river but instead we ended up here before we got to the river.
It's fun and a bit adventurous but also kind of lame.
We didn't try the zipline since we think that ziplines are quite boring but it was fun to walk inside of the mountain! I wouldn't have visited this place if it weren't because of the underground river and honestly I don't think that I would visit Ugong again.

But it can be fun so give it a try! (But the underground river is way cooler) here are some pics http://beammedown.blogg.se/2013/september/dag-11-.html

Place is first and foremost a means for the locals to become self sufficient by running and maintaining this attraction and creating a means for income for them so supporting them was nice. Caving was mild to moderate. The top was just a spectacular view and the best part was the zipline truly a memorable experience. There are guides throughout the cave so u will feel secured.

Run by locals who show you around. Focus is on conservation. An interesting cave that you have to do a bit of climbing in. Its very cheap to get into and you get a zip line ride. Worth going, and supporting the relatively small local enterprise.

It was not in our itinerary but our tour guide suggested this side trip. It was an exciting experience for me, got to do spelunking, exploring the cave and climbing the not too high rock mountain and enjoy the view from the top. The way to get back to ground level is through zipline. Was also my first time and it was great!!
