Nothing much can be said about this historic landmark, except that they are well maintained, since there's only a little left of the post-war memorabilia. The place could use a better view of the beach by trimming down some foliage. However, this is a cool and shady spot where one can relax before/after attending the mass at the neighboring church. We stayed here comfortably for around 30 minutes in the morning for the next scheduled mass after we missed the 8 am schedule.

i love posts and benches. if you need some fresh air and some rest after having had a long walk, this is the best place to be neglecting of course the history of the place.

Just an average park but with a twist of history. A monument was erected here for the American soldiers who were killed. The names are on the monument.

It is a sad reminder of the cruelties of the Japanese soldiers during world war II. It is historical but it is the part where I don't want to be constantly reminded of.
