“Wonderful food poor ambiance”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

The food here is great but it is a shabby place. We sat outside and unfortunately had the smell of sewer all through our meal - very off putting. Inside there is no air conditioning so too hot to eat there. But as I said in the beginning great food so go just for that!

“Charming Place with Tasty Food”
Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

The noodles on their beef stew is quite special. It has very good texture and the soup tastes good. Garlic French bread is also good. And their Vietnamese ice coffee is a delight to experience. A nice place to include in your places to eat in Puerto Princesa.

“Not really authentic Vietnamese”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We dropped by Rene's Saigon at around 1:30 p.m. for a late lunch. We ordered the chicken spring roll and pork barbecue The waiter was very nice but the food just that...something to satisfy our hunger. I've had better Vietnamese food. The serving also was not that large, maybe due to the low price. Lunch was really cheap.

“Not authentic and too far”
Reviewed May 16, 2013 via mobile

Its near the airport.

Too far to go from downtown.

Pay the tricycle roundtrip for there is seldom public transportation. You will have a hard time going back specially at night.

The food is not that good anymore. If you come from Manila and tasted Vietnamese pho. You will be disappointed.

There is another restaurant near Robinsons thst serves more authentic Vietnamese food
