With its proximity to the airport, this Bed and Breakfast Setting is like your second home in Puerto Princesa Palawan... They will make you feel like you are part of their family and the Breakfast is just very Filipino... ( you have to try this Breakfast setting )... Surrounded by Old Trees ( which make the surrounding cool and nature friendly ), there is a certain breeze that you will awesomely feel whereas the rooms are accomodating as well with fresh bed covers, Towels and of course water heater... There is TV and Airconditioning too so the locals don't have to worry...

Just amazing service... All the best to the staff and the owner...

Room Tip: The location of this inn is just few meters away from the airport and is walking distance to various...

my girlfriend and i stayed here last feb 12-15. The room was clean and with aircon.i love their breakfast especially the longganisa and danggit! Very near in the airport, you can walk it about 30secs-1minute but they still picked up us with their van. :) when we arrived i was really amazed how beautiful and simple the place is. (I prefer place with lots of trees and flowers)the staffs were friendly (especially carlito),they will tell you where can you eat good food and they always ask how was the experience after our tour which makes us feel comfortable and feel at home. They also arranged our tour in honda bay, underground river and city tour in a very affordable price. Thanks kristin! We hope to comeback again :) hec and cye! :)

Stayed here during a 2-week trip to the Philippines that included Palawan, Baguio, and Boracay. FWIW, this was the best of those locations. The Mercedes B&B was a part of the reason we liked it in Puerto Princesa (Palawan). First, the location cannot be beat if you like to get right to the hotel after your flight. Unless you are disabled or overly burdened with luggage, you do not need to hire a taxi or trike at the airpot to take you to the hotel. It is only about 350 meters from the airport terminal to the front of the Mercedes B&B. It would probably take longer to take a taxi than it would to walk there. The rooms are simple, but very clean, with red tile in the main room. No bugs. I noted that the mirrors in the bathroom are at a “Filipino” height, so I had to bend over to see myself! The water in the room (provided by one of those in-line in-room water heaters was only barely adequate at the highest setting which was tolerable, but not ideal. Each morning, hot breakfast is served (not a buffet). You can get a Filipino or Western breakfast. The place is small, so you will have some interactions with the other guests. There is around 10-15 rooms total. The property has just one street entrance, and the rooms, the lobby / breakfast area all surround a courtyard that has at least one hammock in the middle. I gotta say, that hammock is great with a San Mig! The only downside with staying here is that it is not close to the downtown area and the tourist sights, but that does make the place quieter even though it is next to the airport.

Room Tip: They all seem to the same, but I would pick the one closest to the street entrance.

stayed for 3 days/2 nights. we arrived in puerto princesa before 9am and they allowed us to do an early check-in at no added cost! just like the previous reviews, the place is really close to the airport. as a matter of fact, i could hear the announcements made at the airport from the hammock! the staff were nice and helpful. my only comments/suggestions are to have more/bigger danggit for breakfast, to have another trash can outside the bathroom, and to provide a towel/mat inside the bathroom

Room Tip: stayed at room#5 - good for 3 people

we stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and kristine, the owner, and her staff made my stay truly memorable!

the room was big, neat, and always tidied up everyday. way more than i expected for the price. the surroundings was very relaxing with trees and hammocks. it was walking distance from the airport but we were picked up from the airport upon arrival by a van and was brought there for departure by the owner herself. meeting kristine for the first time felt like meeting an old friend. her staff were very helpful, always cheerful and funny, and very courteous. i felt like staying with a relative.

thank you kristine, carlie, honey, and nonoy for being so warm and making my stay at puerto princesa worth remembering! i will definitely go back and visit you again! :)

Stayed here for one night befpre we flew to singapore.
the hotel was ok, set in its own grounds literally across the road fron the airport.
The room was clean and airy with air con and a nice bed but a Beth thin blanket/sheet.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful tho they insisted on sweeping outside my room at 7am!!
There a few good restraunts around and the staff sill helpfully point you in the right direction. The free transfer to the airport is good but also funny as you could literally walk on about 3 minutes, it's a quiet place to stay given the location.

We stayed here last June 24-28,2013.The owner and the staffs were very courteous, helpful and willing to please its guests. The room was very clean,as well as the comfort room. The bed was so comfortable with thick matress. It's just a walking distance from the airport and near to all major tourist attractions in the within the city. The food was good. The owner even assisted us in our trip to El Nido and they didi'nt even overcharge us,My co-passengers in the van were overcharged by their hotels of the fare.I will definitely stay here again and i will recommend it to my friends.I only wish that they sell in some basic commodities like soap, shampoos, snacks, etc,as you have to go to a nearby convenient store once you forgot to bring one,but all in all,its the best bed and breakfast inn in Puerto Princesa for me.
