Badjao Seafront Restaurant is in my list of the restaurants to go to because of the reviews I have read. However...
We got there around 2:30pm.I am expecting a good ambiance as well as good service but we experienced a not so good service from the crew (Good thing the view is great). Why?
1st, we asked for the menu, and it took a while (like 5min) before someone went to our table to give us the menu. There are a lot of crews at the counter but are not paying attention to their customers.
2nd, when we asked for drinking water, again it took a while (now like 10 min) to get to our needs. They carried a pitcher and put the water on our glasses. Did not even leave the pitcher with water.
3rd, after we had eaten, we asked for our bill. Now, it took quite sometime (like 15 min). After putting our bill, did not wait for us to put our money, so we waited again for someone to get our payment. And again waiting for our change to be served.
What's wrong is that they are prompt on serving the foreigner and "richy" customers. But since our group are like student-looking (we are a group of 3), they didn't give us the same service they gave on other customers.
The perfect time to go there is lunch time so that you can get to see the nice view of sea and the mangroves. To watch sunset would be great too (should be there before 6pm).
The food are expensive. So choose wisely on the meals.
