City Baywalk

Well, theres nothing much to see here. We came and after 10 minutes, we left. There were a lot of stores and vendors around, but we cant be sure which one is clean and not.

Walking in Bay walk was different, it was nice to stay away from the busy capital for a while. In the night I went to rent a bike for an hour, but it wasn't any nicer than the ones you get from the carboot or anything. The scenery was exceptional as it always is in Puerto. If you do get the chance you should head down. While I was there Logo's Hope was in deck. It's a ship that comes to Palawan once a year and you get the tour around the ship. They talk about religion and relationship with God, which I found really interesting. The staff there all speak english and are from different countries of the world (mostly Europe)

City Baywalk wasn't part of our itinerary due to the reviews ad feedback i read but since we left Baker's Hill early, we had time to squeeze in one more destination and we picked the boulevard. We were surprised to see how CLEAN the place is, there was a line of hawkers who sold their fresh catch and cook it according to you preference but despite the market/open kitchen situation the place didn't stink at all. We would have indulged ourselves to their fresh seafood produce if we weren't full to the brim from our late lunch in Ka Lui (another must visit when in PP). We went there early evening on a weekday, there was no crowd and we were able to enjoy a lazy stroll by the bay front.

If you're one who like to burn some cals from all the holiday/vacation eating, there are bike rentals you can avail :)

Basic a pleasant walk by the bay, but too near the noisy dirty port area to be enjoyable.
Very crowded in the evening, used by locals and overrun with food stalls. The pleasant walk along the bay front is disturbed by children and adults careering up and down on rented bikes. Otherwise this would be a nice place to sit and enjoy an evening drink, but unfortunately there are no decent bars or restaurants here at all.

It is simple. Nothing really fancy or exciting but if you like walking by the bay at night, this may be a place for you.
