Got the big dormitory room with my friends.

We had free transpo from the airport. Aircon was okay and the rooms were clean enough. Breakfast was good too.

Location is somewhat inside a subdivision and takes about 10mins to the airport. There are tricycles outside the place waiting to take you anywhere.

Place is homey and just the right size so its not too crowded.

traveling is a way of unloading. people who lives in the urban area would appreciate this place. not so much with the fancy amenities but definitely calm and relaxing and hassle-free. ysabelle mansion offered us great deals with our tour so our vacation went smoothly as desired. it is a home away from home indeed. :)

This review is already a bit late. I, with my wife and 8 year old daughter stayed here last May 2012 for a 4 night stay. The place is quiet which is just nice after our daily adventures in Palawan. The staff are very helpful from our arrival until our departure. Native breakfast is served and can be prearranged the night before. They even helped us in booking for restaurants which are popular in the area. The location is near the airport and establishments, and just a short ride by tricycle (a form of public transport). They are very keen in keeping the place clean and tidy. I have no complaints or whatsoever for I am getting my moneys worth. It's a great place to stay for budget conscious people whose aim is to have a quiet and safe place to stay. Airport pickup / transfer is provided free as part of their service.

Definitely I will not hesitate recommending this place for budget and fuzz free travelers.

Ysabelle Mansion is a very comfortable place to stay after a whole day of outdoor adventures in Puerto Princesa. It is sure to meet your requirements if you're not after fancy amenities. The place itself is not very far from the Puerto Princesa "night life", but reasonably placed so that you can enjoy a very quiet night's rest. The staff are very friendly and responsive to your needs - do not hesitate to ask, and be sure to ask politely. Personally, there are just some minor amenities they could work/add on, especially with their bathrooms.

For backpackers or groups (like us, we traveled as a group of 8) on a budget trip, Ysabelle Mansion not only provides comfortable accommodation but also great deals with their partner tour providers. They liaise with you early on so you are guaranteed that your trips are planned and that you can make the most out of your time in Puerto Princesa (unless you are caught in really bad weather like tourists who came one day before us).

I'd definitely recommend Ysabelle Mansion as a great budget-friendly option that will let you experience the best Puerto Princesa has to offer. So when in Puerto Princesa, get out in the wild or in the shops and come back to your home in Ysabelle Mansion.

The recommendation of two different group of friends and a top-notch standing in Tripadvisor (2nd Quarter 2012) made me contact this mansion's operators.

We stayed here for 3 nights, after every adventure we had during the day. The room we got is huge, as well as the twin double beds in it. The room also includes a quiet air-conditioning, cable television, safety box, and bars or whatever you call it, for you to dry your wet clothes and towels. However, no big windows here, but there's nothing to see spectacular outside- so, it's fine, and this accommodation is just for sleeping, because we're out almost the whole day, even at night time.

They also offer a wide variety of choices for breakfast that are mostly, or all, Pinoy style, just can't remember, nevertheless, you'll be satisfied.

Their location may be quite far from the main roads of the city, where the famous restaurants, convenience store, drug stores, coffee shops are located, but usually tricycles wait just outside the mansion to bring you to the main roads or wherever you want to go; plus- its isolated location means a quiet environment to enjoy a good night's sleep.

They even arranged our tours and dinner reservation for us (i.e. Puerto Princesa Underground River ("PPUR"), Ugong Rock, Dos Palmas, Kalui Restaurant) - just e-mail them of what you need and prefer for your trip through info@ysabellemansion.com and expect a prompt response. We encountered one bit of a problem- when we were on our way to the PPUR in the morning, I mentioned to our guide that we also arranged an Ugong Rock tour later on the same day, but our guide said that she was not notified of such; so we called our contact in Ysabelle Mansion to have it rechecked and minutes later, they confirmed with our guide of the tour and apologized for any inconvenience caused, so not a big deal.

With it's value, I can definitely say that staying here is definitely worth it! Will even book here again when got a chance to go back in Puerto Princesa.
