they had a short tour, then you can roam freely, their main attraction is the crocodile farm, it would be good if they had more diversity of the native wildlife(maybe they did, just not accessible to tourists)

This place was part of the itinerary of our city tour. . All you can see here are wild animals (though i did not see lions) such as crocs and birds. They breed crocs here. . And they sell croc meat and food. I havent tried one (Croc meat) but i think it tastes good. Worth a visit.

Our first destination on our City tour in Puerto Princesa is this Wildlife. At the entrance, the guide will tell story about the crocs. The first thing you can see on entrance is the display skin of crocs and bones (inside the glass box). The place is clean and simple.

Next part, you can see the hatchlings crocs. They are inside the hatchling area and cover with net. It is safe for kids too. Tour guide said that never put your fingers, coz some crocs might have a tendency to bite your fingers. Just follow the tour guide you'll be safe. After that you'll see some big Crocs and you'll crossing on a steel made bridge. If you bring your kids on this area, keep an eye on them. I feel that the bridge is not that safe and if you accidentally fall on it, you'll be a snack of crocs. Though the bridge itself is strong but there are some openings on the side.

You can also take pictures with bear, bird, and crocs but you just need to pay some small amount ranging from 20-30 pesos. This is optional if just want but u can take picture of the those animals. They have souvenir picture that would cost you around 200 pesos, if you want. After the crocs experience you can explore the place. Visiting this place can consume around 30 minutes.

We arrived and had a bite to eat (Crockodile Adobo - really good) and then took the "tour". It didn't take a long time to finish up and frankly is just a stop-by place. The crock's are of all sizes and shapes and fun to see, also to be able to hold one and have your picture taken is a good memorabilia. But don't expect to spend a much amount of the day there...unless you are all into crock's.

The crocodile incubation area is quite clean and seemingly humane. The adult crocodile pen lets you get up close and personal with the crocs at a safe distance.

The wildlife emporium at the back of the croc farm is in major disrepair. There are still animals in these cages that I really felt sorry for. The paths are muddied up. Some of the pens for animals have been destroyed or maybe abandoned?

There were no signs of animal neglect, there's simply an apparent neglect of the facilities that house the animals and the paths that lead you there. There's a definite need for funds for this center.

I wouldn't say for anyone not to go. Just don't expect much. In fact, be prepared to be a little taken aback.
