“Picture-perfect”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

so many pictures have been posted on the internet, books & magazine of this lagoon, but it is still great to see it yourself!

It's a wide lagoon, so you don't swim here, the boat will just go around the place.

Just take lots of pictures...

“Breathtaking!”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

This was probably the best part of our tour for me! I lovvveeedd this place so much! It was just so beautiful and I loved the fact that we snorkeled right outside the big lagoon. It was so very pretty just looking at all the corals and the fishes. We stayed a good few minutes here and I was just so very happy looking at all nature has to offer and can't believe this place exists! Can't wait to go back! <3

“Serenity it is!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

You will find serenity when kayaking here. Big splashes and waves but the waters are ok once inside the big lagoon. Its really nice to kayak between the rock formations of this big lagoon.

“More eco friendly than the other locations on trip A”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

All the other stops involved tourists getting of their boats, walking on coral and damaging the environment. At least here, you stay on the boat as the boatmen paddle you around the great lagoon. So you end up seeing this natural wonder without damaging it. The downside is that because you are not interacting with the attraction as in other places (i.e. you are not swimming), it maybe isn't as lasting in your memory. But thats a good thing.

“Bring a Kayak”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

When going to Big Lagoon, its better to take a kayak with you. If the tide is high enough, the tour boat could go in the lagoon with little difficulty. However, when the tide isnt on your side, you might have to walk there and just view it from the shallower end. The lagoon is home to small sharks, stingrays and some less friendlier marine animals so swimming around in the deep water might not be such a good idea. A kayak can take you around the lagoon safely and you'll be moving around in your own time.
