“Perfect for sunbathing/chilling on the beach”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

...but beware the afternoon sun! It was pretty strong around 5pm and there were barely any shady places to sit under. There was also some construction going on when we were there, so I guess expect more people next time? There's one bar on the beach. Cocktails were ~P200 (the pina coladas were really good!) and the beer was ~P75 (ice cold too!).

“Popular with Tour boats, but a nice beach”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

We arrived on a private boat to Seven Commando Beach, hoping to avoid most of the tour groups. I believe Tour A comes to the beach as their last stop, so we tried coming early at 9am. Shortly after arriving, about 4 tour boats arrived.

It wasn't a big deal, as the beach is long. There was an area sectioned off for snorkeling. There's a quick drop off and the water gets deep pretty quickly. But it's crystal clear water, white sand and lovely.

There's a small resort / place to buy food on the beach. All in all, a good beach, but if you're looking for something more secluded, try another beach because this one is quite popular.

“maybe it's better to go ealry morning”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

I didn't really get off the boat because it was too hot for a 3pm swim. It would have been a good time to kayak and swim because there weren't too many people. By the looks of it it's the same as other beach.

“we enjoyed the volleyball”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

i would have rated this beach 5 if the waves were tolerable and manageable, i am a small guy and the waves were to big to handle during our stay, there was a low pressure area in mindanao that time. we had a shake for 200 pesos thats expensive i think and honestly we felt alienated by the foreign people. on the good side we had a blast on this last stop of the tour playing volleyball under the scorching heat of the sun,we intended to have tour a and c but the weather did not permit us to do so.
better luck next time.
