Overall, we had a great stay in this hotel. The staffs are very helpful and hospitable. Even though the hotel was undergoing expansion at that time, we were not bothered by the noise and other disturbances. The people at the reception area were always at our "beck-&-call".. Even our breakfasts and dinners at Habibi bar and resto were unforgetable. There's a free wifi with good reception all over the hotel.
If there's one place i would like to spend my vacations yearly, it would be here!

Something about this place, I just liked. Maybe it was the clean, big room, comfy bed, super nice staff, and very nice shower with hot water (when there was power). Not having power from 4am until 10pm is an inconvenience, but you get used to it, and all of the hotels have the same power situation. Its just part of the Philippines experience. Plus, it ensures you stay off the computer while you are on vacation and have fun with your loved one. The hotel is right in the middle of all the action of El Nido, although not on the beach, but you get a discounted price since its not right on the beach. Overall no complaints!

We spent a couple of nights in still sleepy El Nido while we were scuba diving. The Garnet hotel is a newly bult hotel with basic but clean rooms. So don't expect much luxury here. The staff is really nice and you will get a small breakfast across the street in Habib's Café (included in the price). The Hotel is not at the sea side but the beach is only a couple of meters away (across the street). It is situated at the main touristic road of El Nido. But still it is very quite as there is not much going on in El Nido. The rooms have air-conditioning, but as there is no electricity supply from approx. 5 am to 12 am it will get quite warm in the room. There is also free internet available.
