if your looking for a nice place to stay in El Nido, i highly recommend this hotel. It is cheap, it is beautiful, the rooms are nice, the view of beach and the ambiance of its surroundings are spectacular. Adding to that is the politeness and cheerfulness of the staff. it is also 2 kilometeres away from ElNido town proper w/c gives quite and peaceful environment. i stayed here for 4 days together with my friendslast May and im looking forward in going there again.

Stunning Vistas is a good place to stay for it's price. The rooms were clean and the resort overall looked very nice. It was a relaxing place. The bathrooms could have been better, but maybe this was due to the limited supply of water.

I liked that they were able to arrange for the island tours to pick us up right at the hotel. My only complaint about the tours though was that the tour guides never really told you anything about the areas we were visiting.

I think Stunning Vistas could also improve on its restaurant. The service was very slow at times. The staff were very accommodating though if we had any issues. I would recommend Stunning Vistas to anyone going to El Nido and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Deluxe room one night because of construction, then we had a Standard room. We actual...

Resort has its own power so you always have A/C even during a power cut.
I had a room on the beach for PHP2,500 per night although non beach rooms start from 1,500.
Eden and Garry who own the resort are great hosts.
The on site resturant serves good basic food at a resonable price.

i only stayed one night.
the receptionist wasn't the most friendly person but handled everything professionally.
the hotel ground was in a middle of costruction which made the hotel unattractive.
after 5 days of Tao trip, being able to take a real shower and a massage was great. Some what suprisingly, the crab cake was very fresh and delicious. It was served with some kind of vegetable and with san migul light, it hit the spot. all the staff were friendly.
next morning, the van for the airport arrived 10 minutes early and I was happy to be on my way on time.

The 1st day I was there, actually had some issues with the TV & aircon but it was fixed soon after I approached the staff. This resort is less than 10 min away from El Nido Town (by tricycle that cost you 20pesos per trip). The room I stay in is on the 2nd floor with a seaview & quite spacious (ok for 3pax). The shower was a bit weak but I guess that's was due to the limited water source / water conservation purpose. It's a nice place to sit back & relax by the beach watching the sun sets with a nice dinner. The food serviced was not bad. I've talked to a few travellers who stay in El Nido Town and I'm glad I pick this resort for my 5 days stay, because I guess it's one of the few that actually have electricity source for 23 hr thru out a day while in town, most resorts have a power shutdown from 6am - 2pm (no lights, aircon, tv, warm shower...maybe the fans might work if they have a backup generator of their own). As for the arrangement for the tours, it's not pre-planned & personally I find it not very effective. They can only confirm a trip (for next day) in the evening. =\
But I have to say It's a place worth staying for sure!

Clean rooms, tennis oppurtunities, great lunchpizzas and very friendy owner and staff. They offer private tours, which i recomend, if you want to explore the archipelago. The staff is very helpfull and kind. This hotel will give you most bang for the bucks in el nido.

We didn't actually stay at Stunning Vistas since we had already booked and prepaid another place. But we stumbled across the place on the evening of our first day in El Nido as we were in search of a nice Beach. Several things caught or attention. First, the location. The view from the hotel is truly stunning, especially sunset. We started taking with the lovely receptionist and decided to book our boat excursions there. Then we looked at some rooms and ended up having some drinks as the evening sky exploded in vibrant yellows oranges and reds providing a spectacular backdrop to the island we would visit the next day. We paid less than half what our own hotel was charging for the same boat excursions and the service was exceptional. We will definitely stay at Stunning Vistas next time we are in El Nido and recommend you do too!
