“the great place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2010

First, I have to say thanks to David, owner of Greenviews it caused that he saved our life there. hihihiiii... well, my friend Stella and I were stucked at El Nido town at the frist night there. We went to Corong-corong bay and tried our luck. We first arrived Greenviews, and met David at his beautiful terrice where you can see the amazing sunset. So, he gave us two options, one was waiting there til 8pm if a reservation not coming, two was to take his room til we find an room available. Lucky, a reservation was not there, and we took the room. Nice food, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful garden, everything was just great!! We had a wonderful holiday there!

I wasn't happy with the level of service, before we got there my parents were told of the price of 1,500 pesos a night, by the time we arrived at the resort the owner decided at that point to up the price to 2,000 pesos a night, without warning or a phonecall and he then told us that the room we booked he gave it to someone else and he would give us a room, with no air-con or a fan and that we had to pay extra if wanted an electric fan in our room along with an extra bed, we were truly disappointed, that we travelled far and was hoping a nice place to stay after a long journey, the owner then made what seemed like a joke to him but came out as an insult!

Stayed here for 4 nights. It's spotless, with well maintained gardens as is the other resort in Port Barton. The bar is lovely and have a great view. The resort is perfect for great sunset views. You will not be able to swim when tide is out. The piece of beach is spotless and quiet. This is a tricycle trip from El Nido town. Its nice to stay outside town is you want peace and relaxation. Dave and his staff really care about the place being spotless and well cared for.
