“Not sure what the hype is...”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

This restaurant has a reputation for being high quality. I might have caught them on a bad day. Over cooked fish, vegetables that were so overcooked they had the consistency and taste of baby food. Way overpriced for both the service and food quality. A much better restaurant on the beach is Tamarind.

“Awesome, best food on the beach”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Try the Chateaubriand! served perfectly cooked and carved at the table side, amazing!

The owner, a nice German chaps comes over to each table to greet customers and make sure everyone is happy.

Decent wine selection too.

“Mouthwatering food, top quality service and relaxed atmosphere on the beach”
Reviewed October 1, 2012 via mobile

At the higher end of the price spectrum for Sebang Beach, but still very cheap by western standards, and up there with the finest foods I've eaten. Dinners all include soup, entree, side dish and salad, also coffee and a shot of orange brandy or sambucca. Give the fondue for 2 a try, it was fresh with a mix of sauces for dipping, and way too much for us 2 girls, would have easily done 3 people. We also ordered a good wine for the table and bill came to $75aus for 4 people - unbelievable!
The owner chef was friendly, inviting and informative, and the staff efficient and attentive.
We loved it so much we went back there for our last night send off!
Can't wait to be back and dine there again!

“Expect the best in Sabang”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

This restaurant has a few key items you just can not find with reliability in Puerto Galera let alone Sabang Beach area. Item 1) German wheat beers 2) fresh baked pretzels 3) Steak ( they have certified USA Angus) and fresh seafood dishes. 4) for my German friend, the best German menu in Philippine's. She insisted.
They have a great view of Sabang Beach and the bay.
The walk to get there from the pier is a funky zig zag path paralleling the general curve of the beach at high tide. Given a choice you would wear beach shoes and arrive along the beach have a nice meal and walk the zig zag path back and shop with the many, many friendly Filipino shops along your way.
